Chapter Text
Ekko was sure Jinx was trying to kill him.
Neither of them had gotten much sleep. She was up all night with some guy, and he was up all night listening to it. He had his face buried in a pillow trying to muffle the noise and it sounded like Jinx had her face in a pillow too.
It was three in the morning by the time he gave up on sleeping.
“Shit…” He heard her moaning down the hall.
Ekko groaned and stared up at the ceiling.
This was a new kind of torment. She had never been this loud before.
He dreaded the idea that he’d have to wake up in the morning and see whoever her latest one night stand was just hanging out in the kitchen.
She brought a new guy over every couple of days and he swore they were starting to resemble him more and more.
At first he was worried he had missed his chance to ask her out, that she had officially found a boyfriend. But then that guy left and he never saw him again. That one night kicked off the start of this unbearable cycle. Someone new at least twice a week.
“I can’t- I can’t last much-“
He hated to admit it, but for a moment he thought about touching himself to the sounds of Jinx panting and moaning. If he was gonna hear them anyway, might as well get something good out of it, right?
But it wouldn’t be good. Both because it would make things really awkward between them, and also because it wasn’t just her voice he was being forced to listen to.
“You like that?” He heard a man’s deep voice sigh. “Fuck. Yeah you do. You little bitch.”
How could she let a stranger treat her like that? He wondered to himself. Use her for hours on end and then leave in the morning? Better yet, how could none of them stay?
Granted, it was for the better. If any of them did stick around longer than a single night he’d punch them.
Ekko woke up slowly, still tired from the two or three hours he’d managed to sleep the night before. He walked into the kitchen to see her wearing nothing but the guy’s t-shirt. It barely reached her thighs, but it didn’t matter much with her leaning over the counter, covering everything below her waist.
“Hey.” He mumbled, walking over to the fridge.
“Hey.” She said, her voice a little raspy.
He said nothing back. She waited patiently for him to talk like he normally did, but he seemed cold.
“You okay?”
It suddenly occurred to him how annoyed he was acting. He cleared his throat and relaxed slightly.
“Yeah, just… late night.”
Jinx seemed genuinely sorry, realizing she was probably the reason.
“Oh, shit. I didn’t mean to-”
“No, it's fine.”
She absolutely meant to let him hear. She brought three or four guys over in the last two weeks and she could see him getting more and more jealous every time.
“I promise you’ll get a lot more sleep from now on.” She confessed. “I’m tired of dating for now.”
He looked up from his coffee, genuinely caught off guard. Maybe she wasn’t trying to make him jealous?
“What about the guy last night? What are you gonna tell him?”
“Oh he left.”
“He left already? It’s like seven?” He questioned. “What’d you do to make him leave his clothes and sneak out.
Jinx looked down and chuckled.
“He’s a firefighter, had to run out. And he wasn’t looking for something serious.” She explained. “Oh, and this is your shirt.”
Fuck .
She walked back into her room, giving him the chance to eye her as she walked away.
A few days later there was a knock at the door.
Ekko didn’t think much of it. She had said Vi would be stopping by at some point to check in on her.
“Don’t get it!” Jinx blurted out as she ran across the living room with a towel around her. “I’ll be out in a sec.”
They had to get a new apartment. One with two bathrooms. Or one where they didn’t have to run to their rooms naked.
He opened the door and looked down to see a package instead of a pink haired girl he was expecting.
“It’s for you.” He shouted, picking it up and shaking it slightly.
It seemed like it was stuffed full of tissue to muffle any sound and the outside didn’t have any indicators as to what it could be.
He knocked on her door, hoping she’d tell him what it was.
“Ooo…” Jinx poked her head out of her room, her hair dripping down on the wooden floor. “Gimme!”
Normally when she got a package, which was quite often, she’d tear it open and proudly show off whatever she’d just received. But this time she just pulled it away from him with an eager yet bashful smile.
“Are you gonna-”
Jinx slammed the door in his face.
“I’ll be out in a few hours!” She shouted, completely ignoring him.
She wasn’t going to waste any time ripping open the package. It was already obvious to her what it was.
Inside the box was a brand new vibrator.
She figured it was time to move on from the dildo she’d been using for the past couple of months. It had been hidden in her drawer for a few days at this point. She knew it wouldn’t make up for the real thing, so she stopped trying lately.
“Okay… I just…” She looked through the box, trying to figure out the quickest way to get started.
The thing looked nothing like a dick. She hoped she would be too out of it to notice, or that it wouldn’t make it harder to picture Ekko’s cock inside her, fucking her sensles and cumming inside her.
She started pressing the button on the side frantically, getting more and more worked up as the thing refused to turn on. This toy was expensive. If it didn’t work she’d burn the place down and personally kill whoever made it wrong with her bare hands.
The charger.
The fucking toy had to charge first. It was bad enough that she had to wait all day for it to get here, and now she had to wait for who knows how much longer.
Jinx was so worked up she was almost willing to run into the living room and beg Ekko to fuck her right there on the kitchen counter.
She groaned and threw the vibrator down on the bed.
“You okay in there?” Ekko asked through the door.
“Yeah. Fine.”
“Okay…” He said, clearly unconvinced. “I’m gonna pick up some milk, you want anything?”
Damnit. Now would be the perfect time to use it, with Ekko gone for who knows how long and a whole bunch of brand new settings to try after a week of no sex, but no. Just her fucking luck.
