   Summary

   Yassen could remember the moment, crystal clear, when he stood before the murderer of his childhood and, with the click of the hammer against the empty chamber, banished the last bit of Yasha from himself. The last bit of doubt.
   At least that was what he had thought. But now he was sitting here in Venice, fretting over a small slip of paper in a way he didn't even do over a mission gone wrong.
