The ancients are having a meeting today. Ever since Pure Vanilla and White Lily got home from beast yeast there needed to be a discussion about the events that happened while they were gone.
Golden cheese was dreading this day, solely because she’d have to face White lily. She still had so much love in her heart for her beautiful Lily, though she’d never admit that. She needs to keep those feelings bottled up.
Pure vanilla was about to speak up about his experience with his corrupted counterpart.
“As you all know I recently encountered Shadow Milk cookie.”
Golden cheese listened as Pure Vanilla spoke and was surprised to learn that Pure Vanilla offered friendship to that beast. ‘Not a wise decision’ she thought. Even if the beast was truly feeling awful inside a friendship with someone who wrought destruction and death isn’t wise right?
And her thoughts about that beast cookie only brought up White Lily. Her dreadful feelings still lingered from so long ago. She wanted her so badly, to call that flower her own. But she can’t she can’t bring herself to do so.
White lily began to talk about her encounter with Silent Salt cookie. Golden cheese couldn’t help but pity her poor Lily but her face didn’t show it. Honestly White Lily was a bit sad that Golden Cheese seemingly didn’t care about the horrors she went through while she was away.
Golden cheese noticed the look on White lily’s face. She had accidentally stared at her while talking about the beast. The saddened look she gave when her previous love didn’t even care about everything she went through. It made Golden Cheeses calm expression falter. She got up to excuse herself due to it, she couldn’t let anyone know how she felt.
“Continue, I just need a restroom break.”
She forced a smile as she walked away towards the restroom. As soon as she shut the door behind her the tears she’d been holding in started flowing. She couldn’t stop them, this happened whenever she was around that flower. She muttered insulting words about White Lily that she didn’t even mean. She just disliked the crying that came with her appearance.
After a minute of crying she forced a calm demeanor and wiped the tears staining her face away. She walked back to the chair seemingly kept together.
The other ancients were discussing the events that went on together. White Lily cookie still had that same look of despair on her face as she talked. Golden cheese couldn’t handle that and a tear slipped down her cheek. She quickly wiped it away hoping no one noticed. But her dear flower did.
She didn’t comment on it. And felt that her Goldie would prefer that any signs of weakness weren’t showed. She knew from their past relationship that her love didn’t like when being teased in public. She thought that anything that made her look weak should stay behind closed doors. But that didn’t stop her from showing everyone that Lily was her treasure and only she could treat her with affection like this.
She honestly loved the affection and praise from Golden Cheese. She loved how her love language was physical touch and she would cradle her in her wings whenever she was able to. The way she felt in that relationship couldn’t be replicated by anyone else. Nothing could ever come close to the way Golden Cheese treated her.
But that relationship was gone now. The way she feels about Golden Cheese is still there, but Golden Cheese isn’t.
White Lily wasn’t really talking anymore since most of the ancients were now talking to Pure Vanilla about Shadow Milk cookie. Golden cheese really wanted to talk to her flower, but should she? She contemplated it, thinking about how Pure Vanilla offered to be a beasts friend even though the beast has cause countless deaths. Could that be the thing that makes Golden Cheese crack and talk to White Lily again?
She thought about it more. And her decision was that even though her actions caused the destruction of many kingdoms even her own. That striking a conversation with her wasn’t a bad idea.
Golden cheese walked over to sit in front of White Lily.
White Lily was a bit confused about it.
“I’m sorry about what happened to you while you were in beast yeast.”
‘She’s sorry about it?’ White Lily was deeply confused but also a bit happy that Goldie had started talking to her again after all these years.
All White Lily could muster up to say was just a few stuttered words from shock. She could barely comprehend what was happening. Is this a dream?
Golden Cheese saw that White Lily wasn’t able to say anything. She felt bad since she didn’t really ease her into this. She just randomly came up and decided to talk to her again after all these years. She didn’t really mind showing weakness around the other ancients since they were all good friends and thought maybe a hug would help.
Golden Cheese leaned in closer to White Lily and wrapped her arms around Lily’s shoulders. She was honestly a bit afraid to wrap them around her waist after everything that happened. How she’s basically ignored her most beloved treasure after all these years. But White Lily quickly made her know that it was okay to put her arms lower and readjusted them.
Lily put her arms around Golden Cheese and rested her head on her shoulder. She started to sob, she missed this so badly. She needed her Goldie back she needed her affection.
Golden Cheese noticed the crying coming from her Lily. She took one of the hands holding onto, White Lily and brung it up to pet her head as a way of comfort.
The other ancients noticed how the two were hugging. It was only a matter of time until they did anyways. Pure Vanilla cookie was quite happy that Golden Cheese forgave her. He knew that White Lily didn’t particularly take it well when their relationship ended.
She locked herself in her room for weeks and barely ate. Whenever Pure Vanilla visited he was met with sobs and hesitant answers to the door for food he had prepared.
The other ancients just sat there in shock, they honestly never expected Golden Cheese to forgive White Lily. To say it was surprising would be an understatement in their eyes, they literally thought it was impossible.
“What are you staring at?” Golden Cheese scoffed.
“Well the fact you two are embracing each other is a bit.. unprecedented?” Dark Cacao spoke.
“What if we drink juice to celebrate!” Hollyberry exclaimed.
“You drink juice almost every day would that really be a celebration Hollyberry.”
“Oh come on lighten up a little Dark Cacao.”
Golden Cheese noticed that White Lily had stopped crying and the sobs were replaced by laughter.
“I missed you so much Goldie”
Golden Cheese hadn’t heard that nickname in so long. She had only ever let White Lily call her that and after their separation she had longed for that beautiful voice of Lily’s to call her it.
“I missed you too Lily”
The two had stayed in each other’s embrace for a while, only separating because Hollyberry stayed true to her word and brought drinks to celebrate. All of them were drinking except for Pure Vanilla cookie who didn’t really partake in alcohol. They mostly just had a few fun conversations about how they had been doing. Or just drunken ramblings about literally anything.
Pure Vanilla just watched his friends and sighed due to their state. It was pretty funny to be honest. A few hours later most of them were ready to go to sleep and they all headed to their guest rooms.
But there were two cookies who were restless that night. Golden Cheese and White Lily longed for each other so bad it hurt to be apart. The two tossed and turned in their beds until finally deciding to go to each other’s rooms. The two accidentally met each other outside on their way.
“What are you doing out here?” White lily asked
“I could ask you the same thing.”
“I-i uhm was heading to your room.”
“Oh?”
“Sorry..”
“No, no don’t be sorry I was actually heading to yours as well my dear.”
Golden Cheese brought her hand up to cup White Lilys cheek. Lily’s eyes widened at the name she called her. White Lily stood on the tip of her toes to reach the woman in front of her and leaned in for a kiss. The kiss quickly deepened and the two walked over to White Lily’s room, the kiss not stopping for a second.
The two sat on the bed and explored each other’s mouth acting as if they were starving for each other which they honestly were. The two only stopped after they were literally gasping for air. A string of saliva still connecting them to each other’s mouths.
They lied there for a second and just basked in each other’s presence. Eventually embracing each other. Golden Cheese wrapped her wings around White Lily as they cuddled.
“I love you my dearest treasure”
“I love you even more my love”
“Are you sure about that?”
“mhm..”
White lily yawned and they both drifted off to sleep
