Nile had called Nicky for some help with Joe.
Nicky: "Let me get this straight: Joe got into a bar fight because someone insulted his art?"
Nile: "Yes, and I really hope you can get Joe out of there before he gets arrested."
Nicky: "Why? I mean, I understand Joe's feelings more than anyone else because he creates the most beautiful art in the world, and if some idiot can't see that, they deserve to be punched in the face."
Nicky returned to reading while Nile rubbed her face with a deep sigh.
Andy: "You are doing it wrong, Nile."
Nile: "What do you mean?"
Andy: "We both know those two will support each other no matter what. So, if you want one of them to do something like stopping the other one from doing..."
Nile: "You have lost me."
Andy: "Watch and learn because you can use this in the future."
Andy placed a hand on the page Nicky was reading, and he looked up at her.
Andy: "Didn't you and Joe have big plans tonight?"
Nicky: "Yes, why are you asking?"
Andy: "How can you do the big plans without Joe if he is in jail tonight for the bar fight?"
Nile could tell Nicky was thinking about what Andy had just said.
Nicky: "You got a point, Boss. Excuse me."
Nicky stood up with his book in his hand before he walked over to the bar fight. It took Nicky a moment and maybe punching one or two people to reach Joe.
Joe: "Hi, Babe. Something wrong?"
Nicky: "I was just wondering if you..."
Joe punched a man in the face.
Joe: "Sorry for the interruption. You were saying?"
Nicky: "If you wouldn't rather go home and enjoy an evening in the bathtub with me instead of whatever you are doing now?"
Joe took Nicky's hand with a smirk.
Joe: "You are right. An evening with you is something I would always prefer over idiots who don't know their art."
Joe and Nicky left the bar. When they walked past Nile and Andy, they waved at them.
Nile: "I can't believe that worked. How did you do that?"
Andy: "I have known these two for over a thousand years now, and it is just a matter of using one of them to get the other one to do something you want them to do or to distract them."
Nile: "Please tease me that trick."
Andy: "With time, young one. Tonight, I want to eat a burger and get drunk. What are your plans? I would avoid the safe house for the next many hours unless you plan on looking at a lot of naked asses."
Nile: "I was thinking the cinema. Maybe I will join you later."
Andy: "Have fun. Call if there is anything."
Nile promised, and they parted for now.
