Before we get started with the Fic. Let's clarify the characters and high school.
The High School: Seriyu Academy
A prestigious academy which allows people with co-cirrular activities to flourish. Atheletes and those in the Creative Fields are the main focus of this academy.
Now the Characters
- Isagi Yoichi: 2nd year of high school. 17 years old. In the academy for Football. (Japanese)
- Kageyama Tobio: 1st year of high school. 16 years old. In the academy for Volleyball. (Japanese)
- Kawamori Risa: 1st year of high school. 16 years old. In the academy for Volleyball and Art. (Japanese)
- Marie Kaiser: 1st year of high school. 15 years old. In the academy for Art and Literature. (German) Exchange student.
- Michael Kaiser: 3rd year of high school. 19 years old. In the academy for Football and Literature. (German) Exchange student.
These are the main characters, and the story will mostly revolve around them.
- Isagi and Kageyama are Cousins.
- Risa is Kageyama's girlfriend.
- Marie and Michael are siblings (adoptive, but they consider each other as their real siblings and are very supportive of each other (Michael took literature so that his sister doesn't feel left out))
- Kaiser's backstory is still there.
- The Kaiser siblings are on scholarship by Bastard Munchen. (Yes, Kaiser is a youth player, along with Ness)
- Third-year has athletes who are youth players from clubs. Sometimes other years, too.
- There is a year-end test that starts from the Second year onward to select students from their respective fields to apply for international clubs and institutes.
The friend group consists of Isagi, Kageyama, Risa, and Marie. They all help Isagi confess to Marie's older brother. Kaiser joins the friend group much later.
For Michael they prefer to call him Kaiser, and for Marie it's just Marie or Marie chan.
So that's pretty much about the fic, I will add on when I think it's needed.
Ichinan High School Football field
Isagi sat down on the bench. His team has been practising for the Nationals. He took out his phone and checked that his mom had messaged him.

Why did she ask to come home early? must be important.
He got up and stretched himself. He then walked up to Coach.
"Coach, can I leave early? My mom asked me to come early today."
The Coach paused and thought.
Isagi thought about all his records under the coach. He never asked to go early, and neither did he have a bad record under him. If we omit the part where he asked for scoring the goal himself, everything is good.
"Yeah, sure. You can go. Make sure to come early tomorrow."
"Thank you, coach! I will come early!" Isagi beamed. but inner Isagi had some other thoughts.
SCREW THAT EXCUSE OF AN COACH I WLL COME LATE.
He took his keys, rushed to the cycle and made his way home.
Isagi Household
"I am Home!" Isagi shouted.
He removed his shoes and went to the kitchen.
"Why did you call-"
Isagi stopped in his tracks. He saw Tobio chilling in his house while munching on his favourite cookies.
Ofc It's him, who else would like the idea of eating their cousin's favourite cookies.
"YOU! STOP EATING MY COOKIES!"
"Did you label on it? I will eat whatever I want," He snickered.
"Why don't you eat shit then?"
A moment of silence.
"Yocchan! That's not how you talk with your cousin!" Isagi's Mum scolded him.
"Tobio, don't worry about it. He just returned from his practice", She assured Tobio.
"Don't worry about it, Aunty. Seems like he still hasn't grown up" He stood up near Isagi, towering over him.
"Behave. I am older than you" Isagi stood on his ground.
"And? I am taller than you" He grinned.
If Isagi didn't worry about disappointing his mother he would have thrown this overgrown monkey out of the house.
"Now now boys, don't argue"
Yet they glared at each other.
He ignored Kageyama and decided to ask his mother.
"Anyways, why did you call me home early?"
"Oh yes! Yocchan, you are going to attend Seriyu academy starting this semester. They sent us a proposal to admit you to the school. and also they reached us out regarding your football saying that they would help you get in the Nationals." His mother chimed in the good news. Seriyu Academy is a powerhouse of producing top notch athletes. If Ichinan is the best football team around here, then Seriyu has the best football team in the whole country.
"Are you okay with it, Yocchan?"
"Yess, I am delighted to attend it!" Who is Isagi to ignore this tempting offer to polish his football skills further? He doesn't know how he got into it since his skills are probably mediocre since they lost against Matsukaze. But he is glad that he is invited there.
"That's good to know! Tobio chan is also going to live with us from now on since he will be attending the same Academy. Isn't that great!"
His mood dropped. Living with this moron is completely the worse he could ever imagine. He shot a dirty look at him.
"What? I also got invited; it's not my fault. It's not like I want to live with a football freak."
"Last time I remember, I wasn't the one mopping over my team not listening to me"
"YOU-"
Before they could argue further, Isagi Iyo stopped them.
"You do know that we can cancel the letter if we want? If you two don't get along, YOU TWO ARE NOT GOING TO THE ACADEMY".
That made them stop glaring at each other.
"That's what I thought. Now hug each other and make up."
They approached each other hesitantly. Spread their arms and awkwardly hugged each other. Three pats in the back and they smiled as if they were put in a gun hold.
"Good, I will go prepare for dinner then".
As soon as Iyo left the room. They both aggressively dusted their clothes.
"Listen here, let's stay on good terms. at least for the academy" Isagi rubbed his temples.
"yeah sure, I can't disappoint my girlfriend because of an idiot"
Isagi looked at him as if he just saw an alien in real life.
"You have a GIRLFRIEND??"
"Duh. Not everyone is like you"
"Yeah, If they were me they would have dumped your sorry ass"
Before Kageyama could bite back, his phone rang.
It was from her. His girlfriend. His eyes relaxed. He hurriedly picked up the phone, almost fumbling over it as he spoke.
"Hello"
"No no, I am totally free"
He shot a look of Don't-you-dare-to-interrupt-me and rushed to the guest room.
Isagi almost gagged from that sight.
He would never ever act like that.
He decided to take a shower. At least it will make his mood better.
They were having dinner. Issei Isagi was glad to know that the two boys were finally getting along.
Little did he know that there was a kicking fight going under the table.
"So the school is going to start from day after tomorrow. We have the uniforms, and you just need to prepare yourself for the new school." His father told them. "Also, Yocchan, are you really ok with it? since it's your second year and you have been preparing with Ichinan," he asked him.
"Yeah, I don't see any issue. I will do my best"
He was more than happy to leave that place.
"and Tobio? It might be okay with you since it's your first year"
"Yes Uncle" He nodded.
"Do let us know if there is any trouble, okay, Tobio?"
"Okay" Tobio smiled.
As Isagi was getting ready to watch the Top 10 moments of Noel Noa being the GOAT
He heard a scream.
He rushed to see what had happened. Isagi's room was right beside the guest room.
"What happened?!"
He saw Kageyama kicking his feet frantically on the bed.
"She is so cuteee!" He heard him cooing.
"Seriously?"
"Seriously."
Isagi took a deep breath.
"Never scream like that for such trivial things"
"DUDE, HOW CAN YOU FUCKING CALL IT TRIVIAL?!"
"BEACUSE IT IS DUMBASS. WHO IN THE FUCKING WORLD SCREAMS OVER THEIR LOVER?"
"ME! I SCREAM"
"THAT'S THE PROBLEM! NOW SHUT UP"
"WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING?!"
"BECAUSE YOU ARE SHOUTING!"
They calmed down.
"Alright, What was it that you were screaming over?"
"Glad you asked. Now listen"
This was the moment Isagi knew that he made the worst mistake to ask someone about their lover.
5 minutes into the conversation, Isagi already felt like jumping out the window.
"Forget I ever asked. I am going now"
"Wait I haven't even showed you her picture!"
"Make it quick, then"
He showed the picture. It was him and her. She was shorter than him, She had tanned skin with moles on her face. She had wavy hair that was the colour of the night sky. Overall, she looked really gorgeous compared to some dumb rat face standing beside her.
"I feel sorry for her" Isagi concluded.
"Why?"
"Because she had to date you"
Kageyama threw a pillow at him. Isagi laughed at that.
The next day, they avoided each other's remarks and focused on their respective sports and studies.
It was in the evening when they talked.
Kageyama's girlfriend was waiting outside the house when Isagi was returning from practice.
Isagi was in a good mood since he got to dump that good-for-nothing team.
"Uh, hey? Why are you waiting here?" He asked her.
"Oh, I was just waiting for Kageyama."
"You mean my cousin?"
She had a look of confusion.
"Oh, I am Isagi Yoichi. Kageyama is my cousin. Tobio must be inside. Why don't you come and wait inside?" He asked politely.
" No, it's fine. I will wait outside. I am Kawamori Risa, by the way."
"Alright, I will just send him outside. Have a nice day ahead Kawamori San"
Isagi burst into his room.
"Bruh, your girlfriend is waiting outside!"
"I KNOW!"
He was deciding over which shirt to wear,
"Oh my god! Just wear your jersey and go!"
"Wait, we are going to volleyball practice. You are right. Jersey would suit more"
With that, he was out of the house for good.
Isagi went downstairs and watched the video he couldn't watch.

Since no one was home, He could watch it peacefully.
This was peak comfort.
As he was watching, He noticed a clip where someone was continuously dismissing Noa's orders.
Isagi was angry. How could someone treat the goat like that!?
Even though that person played well, he had a faster swing than Noa.
Yet that doesn't give an excuse to treat Noa like that!!
He saw the comments to know who it was. All he could find was that he was called Blue Rose and the emperor.
WAIT ISN'T HE THE NEW GEN 11 MEMBER?!
He can't remember his name.
He will look it up later.
His mother has now returned from the market.
Isagi decided to go to sleep early.
and soon it was the next day.
They both got ready and they were nervous about their first day.
Surely it would be a Normal school. Right? Right???
WRONG!
It was everything but Normal.
Seriyu Academy
The Academy's infrastructure was large.
The students seemed to be posh.
Then he saw some goofy students.
alright some seemed posh.
He went to his classroom.
He felt like he was the only new student when he saw that there were few new students, too.
He took the seat near the window, which was somehow empty.
Soon, he was greeted by a bubbly classmate.
"Hey there! Are you new too!?"
"Yeah, I am Isagi Yoichi and you?"
"I am Bachira Megeru, I am new too, It's nice to meet you!"
"Nice to meet you too, Bachira"
He got to know that Bachira is also here for football which made them close friends in no time.
They talked about their favourite teams and players and on and on.
Their homeroom teacher announced
"Before we start with the classes, please go to your respective selected areas so that we can confirm your interest"
This was something new, nevertheless, Isagi was happy that he was going with a friend there.
They reached there, and Isagi's eyes couldn't believe it.
There stood a charismatic blonde man who had dyed blue rat tails and a striking blue rose tattoo and not to mention the iconic red eye liner under his eye.
He was the very same man Isagi had watched on his TV last night.
The same physique, The same eyes, The same face and The same damn smirk.
like Seriously?
