Her only wish during her 18th birthday is to survive the reaping one last time, that way she can get to work and make sure that her little brother is finally safe and taken care of. But odds have never been on her favour.
With the famous victor, Finnick Odair, deciding to take an especial interest on her, though, Annie starts to believe she might have a chance to win. She knows what death entails, so she might as well try her luck.
I finally took enough courage to explore Annie's story after Suzanne Collins published Haymitch's games. All credit goes to her, I just own a few OC'S.
PART ONE: THE REAPING
"In penance for their uprising, each district shall offer up a male and a female between the ages of 12 and 18 at a public "Reaping." These Tributes shall be delivered to the custody of the Capitol. And then transferred into a public arena where they will Fight to the Death, until a lone victor remains. Henceforth and forevermore this pageant shall be known as the Hunger Games."
