Chapter Text
Tap... tap... tap... impatiently Big Mama's fingers mindlessly tap on the desk. What a boring lot of fighters she's hired. Barely a single drop of blood stains the floors these fools whimsically step on, putting on a sorry excuse of a show. To be frank, she expected very little, but this is pathetic. At this rate, the name of "Battle Nexus" will go down in history as a short running, unsuccessful circus.
Big Mama needs better fighters. Fighters who can properly entertain her, who will easily succumb to her wishes. But oh, it's hard to find yokai like those anymore. With a loud sigh, Big Mama stands from her chair, stealing one final disdainful look at the stadium before leaving to her personal spa room. Upon stepping in, she clicks her broach, turning her into a giant spider with six striking red eyes. She rings the bell that signals her staff to her aid, watching as they hurriedly prepare to accommodate Big Mama to her satisfaction. ”Let's go, let's go, let's go!!” one staff member, a mutant fox, calls out to a stampede of other desperate looking staff members, ”Big Mama needs immediate relaxation! Move faster, ya slow pokes!”
Big Mama is met with manicures, fanning, and massages, allowing her to forget the whole Battle Nexus fiasco, or at least calm down from it. Maybe she could ask Draxum for new fighters!... Though they aren't on the best terms, haven't been for a while. And who knows? He could trick her somehow and make her look like an even bigger fool.
Her thought process was rudely interrupted by a shattering potted plant. The fault of a mutant cow. "Oh no- Oh no, Big Mama, I didn't mean it!" the cow frantically apologizes, bending on a knee for her. "I'll make it up to you, I swear it! I could-"
"No need for histrionics," Big Mama spoke with a sickeningly sweet voice, putting up one of her free arms to dismiss the situation. The cow visibly relaxes upon seeing Big Mama's unbothered expression and takes a breath. "Take him to the 'Cells of the Forgotten'." She commands an owl staff member, who doesn't dare hesitate. He drags the cow by his upper arms, attempting to get him out of the door. "Wha- No! I didn't mean to!" The cow begs, knowing very well of how futile begging is for him now. "Mm, I have no use for you if you're going to break my things~!" Her voice heightens in pitch, sending a chill throughout the cow's body. She wiggles her fingers at the cow before he gets yanked off of the door frame he was holding onto. His piteous yelling growing fainter as he gets dragged away.
"Continue," Big Mama orders the staff, who immediately begin to aid her again, one going over to pick up the shattered glass like nothing ever happened.
Now where was she... Battle Nexus... Draxum.. fighters! She drops the idea of Baron Draxum entirely, knowing he won't do her any favors unless she brings him turtles. She closes her eyes to think of what to do.
"Turtles!" Big Mama violently perks up at the revelation, scaring everyone in the room (including herself). "Excuse me.." she giggles through her embarrassment. But nevermind embarrassment... how come she hadn't thought of the turtles yet? They literally will not leave her alone. But they'll make great entertainment.
It could prove to be risky to take all of them, but one in particular prevails in her mind.. she craves intellect, naivety, creativity, loyalty, and one fits all of those and more. She doesn't know how to get him and she doubts it would be easy. She did try killing his brothers on multiple occasions, but she can use his smarts against him. She'll have to lure him back here somehow, without the others. They do nothing but cause her trouble. Shame.
