It has been a long, long day. Felix has felt exhausted the whole day, since the moment he woke up, and exhaustion brings mistakes, and Felix feels absolutely awful after a whole day of him messing up everywhere during practice for the comeback, that is literally around the corner. It is not a time for mistakes, Felix knows that. But he is allowed to need rest for one day, right? It does not make him a failure, atleast that is what Jisung said. He would have liked to believe him for once, but he stayed late after practice to make up for it anyways. Now, it is midnight, and Felix is back at their dorm and all he wants is to be in his Mama's arms and just let go and not have to worry about anything anymore.
Any energy Felix had remaining in him to keep functioning, dissipates as soon as he reaches his room. Seungmin is right there, and Felix wants, he wants so bad but it would be so selfish of him to ask for Seungmin to take care of him after he too has had a long day of practice so he is not going to ask, he won't, he refuses to. But, Seungmin looks up and he reads right through Felix's bad attempt at putting up a facade. Felix knows because he sees how Seungmin's eyes soften, how he sets aside his laptop immediately, stretching his arms wide open, a warm invitation for Felix and who is he to deny himself that warmth he so desperately needs, when it's right there waiting for him? He moves his heavy legs forwards until he falls into the warm embrace, body instantly relaxing as Seungmin holds him tightly, squishing him in the most gentlest way possible, which is exactly what the blond needs really. It's grounding, it is comfort, it's his safe haven.
"You've had a rough day, huh?" Seungmin whispers, running his hands over the other's back, soothing him. Felix tries to respond but all that comes out is a soft sob. His head is just screaming 'Mama, Mama, Mama' over and over like a chant and he can't think anything else, at all. "My angel boy," Seungmin pulls away, cupping his face as he wipes the few tears away with his thumb, "I'm right here, let Mama take care of you, it's alright." And there is that, any attempts of staying big down the drain. Seungmin has that power over him, a few nice words and he slips so so fast. He makes him feel so safe and loved that it is overwhelming at times.
"Ma," It is barely a whisper, Felix isn't capable of more but he wants his Mama and he knows his Mama will understand so it is all okay, "Mama."
"Angel." His mama responds, giving him a fond smile. "I'm here."
"Lixi miss u los, wan be wit Ma all day bu had practis whol day an Lixi mak so many mistak." He cries. Seungmin lifts him up and sits them down on the bed. He lets Felix snuggle in closer and Felix does, closing any form of distance between them, so close that he can hear his Mama's heartbeat.
"My babyboy, it's okay. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes, hm? Lixie isn't feeling so great today, so it's all okay angel." Seungmin replies, rocking him gently. "You wanna get more comfy, angel?" He asks, and he's met with an immediate head shake from Lixie, his grip on Seungmin tightening even more somehow. "Oh, it's okay, little one, we can stay here as long as you'd like. Mama is happy to be here with you. Mama loves you, lots and loads."
"Lixi lov Ma los n lods." He mumbles into Seungmin's chest, barely audible, but Seungmin understands, ofcourse he does. Felix can be however he wants to be or needs to be and his Mama will always, always understand him. They stay there for a while, Felix clinging to Seungmin like a Koala and Seungmin rocking him ever so gently, muttering reassurances constantly, letting Lixie know how loved he is. He waits until Lixie pulls away himself, and when he does, Seungmin fake gasps, 'Oh, Mama almost forgot how cutie Lixie is." which makes Lixie let out a giggle, "Mama you so silly. Lixi right here an Lixi no cute, Ma is."
"My angel boy, you are the cutiest little baby." Seungmin replies, peppering his face with kisses all over which only makes Lixie giggle and blush even more.
"Lixi get it from his Ma!" He giggles out, to which Seungmin accepts defeat, chuckling as he says "Mama can't argue with that."
"Now, what does baby boy wanna do, hm?" Seungmin asks, and it is no suprise to him when Lixie excitedly asks. "Kitty an Boo watch Monsers Inc? An cuddle."
"Okay, boo. Mama and Lixie can watch Monsters Inc. but we must get you in some comfy clothes first, yea?"
"O, Lixi wear chicky onesie?" Lixie asks excitedly, giving Seungmin the widest most adorable eyes you could never ever say no to, not that he would have anyways.
So that is how it goes, he helps Lixie change into his onesie, cooing on how adorable his little angel is. Lixie lays down on in his Mama's lap, snuggling upto him, as they both watch Monsters Inc. Somewhere along the movie, Lixie falls asleep in his arms, which is not a suprise given how tired Felix looked before. Seungmin turns the TV off, slowly moving Lixie into a more comfortable position. As he tucks Lixie in and slides in next to him, he finds the other slowly opening his eyes, giving Seungmin a confused and sleepy glance. "Oh baby, go back to sleep. Everything's good, Mama will be here when you wake up. I love you angel." Lixie cuddles closer into Seungmin's chest mumbling as he closes his eyes again, "Lov Ma los n loads"
