Everything is fine for the first few hours of Wonwoo’s day. Only two customers come in, but they’re both looking for texts that they actually have in stock.
He’s lost in a book when the front door of the shop pushes open and three people come stumbling in at once. It takes Wonwoo a second to register that it’s Soonyoung leaning all of his weight on Chan and Yeonjun—two of his apprentices at the dragon sanctuary.
“What happened?” Wonwoo asks, rushing over to help.

That does help a little. He’s learned how important it is to have allies. Even weird ones. He relaxes slightly, and Jeonghan smiles a lazy grin.
“There we go, you smell a little less terrified now. Very good, makdoongie. Why don’t you finish your last piece and I’ll go get him?”
