"K, would you like to go on a blind date?" Mizuki asked on a Nightcord call.
"Eh- Eh?" Kanade asked, surprised by the out-of-the-blue question.
"Pleaseeeee, K? My friend's friend is really single and my friend wants to give her a cute date. And well, you're really pretty, so I thought why not... Plus, you're the only one on the call right now!" Mizuki pleaded. Kanade thought for a second. It was a few weeks since Kanade realized that she liked Mafuyu. It didn't feel right to go on a date when she already liked someone else...
"I don't know, Amia. It doesn't feel right..." Kanade whispered.
"Hmm, you said you were planning on writing a love song, right? Maybe going on the date will help?" Mizuki asked. Well, if it was about composing...
"Okay, I'll do it."
"Mafuyu, would you like to go on a blind date?" Ena asked in the empty sekai. Mafuyu had just finished school, and Ena was skipping.
"...What are you saying, Ena?" Mafuyu asked. A few months ago Mafuyu realized her feelings for Kanade were a bit different from how she felt about Ena and Mizuki. It was only a few days ago, she realized it was love. Mafuyu couldn't go on a date that wasn't Kanade.
"Look, I know you might be opposed to the idea but my friend's friend is 'single and ready to mingle' by my friend's words. I don't like you either, but you're the only one available. Are you in or not?" Ena asked. Mafuyu was about to say no, when Ena stopped her.
"You might find out something new about you."
"...I'm in."
Mizuki was in Kanade's house since the break of dawn, doing her makeup.
"Mizuki... Do we really need to do it like this? The date's still in 3 hours..." Kanade asked as Mizuki started picking out clothes for her to wear.
"I want you to make a good impression to your first date! Here, why don't you try this on?" Mizuki handed Kanade a blue skirt and a while blouse, with a blue bow attached. Kanade took the clothes and tried them on. When she showed it to Mizuki, they immediately started taking pictures.
"AHHHH YOU'RE SO ADORABLE YOU'RE SO PRETTY!" Mizuki screamed. Kanade felt her ears heat up with embarrassment.
"I think I look nice..." Kanade said, smiling softly.
"Let me braid your hair, Kanade. There's no way you're leaving the restaurant single!" Mizuki hummed as they started braiding Kanade's hair.
But I want to be Mafuyu's girlfriend...
"Remind me, what's the dress code?" Mafuyu asked. She was on the phone with Ena, trying to pick out some clothes.
"Just dress casual, I guess." Ena said. Mafuyu picked up a purple shirt and black trousers.
"And why can't I tell Kanade I'm going on a blind date? We live in the same house." Mafuyu asked.
"I already told you, Kanade already knows who the date is and it'll ruin the surprise. Now shut up and get dressed quickly, your date already left their house." Ena hissed. Mafuyu nodded and got dressed.
Kanade stood nervously in front of the restaurant. She couldn't imagine who would be her date. She certainly didn't expect...
"Mafuyu?" Kanade asked. Mafuyu looked surprised too.
"Kanade. I was supposed to have a blind date here." Mafuyu said.
"Me too... I should call Mizuki."
"I should call Ena."
They picked up their phones and started calling, but no one answered.
"I guess they set us up. Shall we go inside?" Mafuyu asked. Kanade was partly confused, but mostly relieved as Mafuyu stretched out her hand. Kanade and Mafuyu walked into the restaurant together.
"Hehe, I wonder how the date is going~" Mizuki giggled. They were in the empty sekai, waiting for Kanade and Mafuyu's date to end.
"Yeah. It's about time they got together, they live together yet they don't realize their feelings." Ena said. Soon, colorful lights appeared.
"Ena, Mizuki. What is the meaning of this deception?" Mafuyu asked in a intimidating voice.
"You- You didn't like it?" Mizuki squeaked. Kanade popped up from behind Mafuyu.
"It's okay Mizuki, we liked it. And um... we're..." Kanade looked at Mafuyu shyly, and Mafuyu kissed her. Ena and Mizuki gasped.
"We're together now." Kanade smiled softly.
"FINALLY!"
