A few days have passed since XG’s space ship crash landed on earth and the girls have been exploring the land finding weird beings they have never seen before. They needed to find a way back home while avoiding any sort of attention from humans. The leaders, Chisa and Jurin, decided to send the girls in small groups to the city to study humans and their interactions, to try and mimic their behavior and emotions while they are stuck on a different planet.
Hinata and Jurin got paired up, they’ve just been walking around observing people for multiple days now and they noticed something very interesting. They saw it in movies and billboards, heard it in music. They saw people also reenact these things, holding hands, hugging, smiling at each other in a way that looked very different than the usual friendly stuff they’ve seen before. It was something else. Something they couldn't put into words.
They kept seeing this same strange thing over and over again. The more they saw it the more they both started to feel.. different?? like something was off. Was this what humans also feel? Hinata and Jurin looked at each other both unsure about this feeling. At first they thought it was just curiosity but there was a strange tension(?idk) between them like they are starting to feel the same thing they have been seeing in others.
Hinata hesitated for a bit then looked at Jurin
“What if we... tried it?”she asked, her voice much quieter than usual. Jurin raised an eyebrow while looking very confused. “Tried what?” Hina took a deep breath. “You know… stuff.. like.. a kiss?” Jurin blinked, then looked at the humans around them, some of them holding hands or kissing. “We could try..”
With a mix of both confusion and excitement, they leaned in slowly both of them feeling that strange tension again unsure of what would happen next.
They both froze for a moment not sure if they were actually gonna do it. Hinatas heart raced a little and she could tell Jurin was also feeling the same. It was a bit awkward but also kind of exciting. They were about to do something humans did all the time but to them it was very new.
They both leaned in closing the gap between them. The moment their lips touched, it was nothing like they imagined. It wasn’t magical or life changing like in the movies they watched instead it felt awkward and a little silly but also strangely.. nice?
They pulled away quickly with both of their faces turning red. "Well... how do you feel?.. " Hinata quietly said, looking at Jurin with wide eyes. Jurin laughed, a little nervous. "Im not sure” For a moment, neither of them said anything, just looking at each other, still feeling that weird new thing between them. Neither of them knew exactly what it was, but they couldn’t deny that something had shifted.
As the days went on, things between Hinata and Jurin started to feel... different. It wasn’t like anything huge changed, but there was this vibe whenever they were around each other there was just this feeling that wasnt there before. They started spending more and more time together, talking about things they havent even thought to mention before. It was like they were discovering new sides of each other.
Hinata would catch Jurin looking at her and instead of it feeling awkward it started to feel kind of nice like maybe there was more to this than just being friends stranded on a new planet and when Jurin smiled at her it made her heart race, something she has never felt before.
One afternoon, they were sitting on a park bench, watching people walk by, when Hinata just blurted it out. “You know... I think i want to try that kiss thing again..” Jurin looked at her, surprised. “What?”
Hinata shrugged, her eyes still on the people around them. “I think im starting to feel it. I didn’t get it at first but now... when im with you it feels different..”
Jurins heart skipped a beat. She didn’t say anything for a moment but she could feel it too. She felt it when they laughed together, when they stayed up late talking about nothing for hours and especially when Hinata would smile at her. She didn’t know what to call it but it was there. “I think I feel it too,” Jurin said quietly looking over at Hinata.
Hinatas heart melted. She never expected she’d find something like this on earth but now that it was here she didn’t want to let it go. Before she could stop herself she leaned in close gently brushing her hand against Jurins. She smiled feeling a bit shy but way braver than before and this time when their lips touched it felt right. It wasn’t awkward or strange at all. It was just…perfect. It made them both feel like they were exactly where they were supposed to be and for the first time since landing on earth both of them felt like they found something they both needed.
