Summary
Lando Norris has always believed that monsters under the bed were a childhood thing. However, everything changes when a slender shadow begins visiting him every night. He should be afraid, screaming, or at the very least, praying for the creature to disappear. But the problem - or perhaps the solution - is that Oscar, the monster in question, is not scary at all.
A descendant of the legendary Boogeyman, Oscar Piastri was created to torment humans, but he never had a talent for it. Instead of inspiring nightmares, he trips over his own feet, mumbles excuses and seems more interested in listening to Lando talk about racing than in terrorizing him.
As the nights pass, their relationship evolves from a strange curiosity to something that defies the supernatural: a friendship... and perhaps something more. Between whispers in the darkness and muffled laughter under the sheets, Lando realizes that he no longer wants Oscar to disappear at sunrise. But can a human love a shadow? And more importantly... can Oscar stay?
