Summary
“I need you,” was the voicemail left on Cody’s phone while he’d been in the shower at the back of the bus. The words may have been foreign but they were unmistakably Roman’s, with his gruff and demanding tone.
Cody hurried to put the rest of his street clothes on over the underwear he’d strolled out of the shower in. Usually there was plenty of time to rid himself of the sweat from the night’s show and still be able to decompress before his visitor appeared. Apparently Roman wouldn’t be affording him that luxury tonight. Because he made it feel like a luxury, not a courtesy for Cody.
