I DO NOT OWN ONE PIECE

The last heartbeat of the Warrior of Liberation rung softly throughout the quiet field of corpses and fire. He did it, but at a very unfortunate cost. The World Government was of no more. The world could be a better place now. He passed with a smile. One of freedom and carelessness, unrestrained and strong. But there was no more. The adventure was over.
He woke up in a place of dark and light. Only a frame of a figure stood around him.
"Whoa... Where am I? Am I dead?" The boy asked out loud, only getting his echo in response.
"Monkey D. Luffy..."
"Who's there? Where am I? Do you have any food?"
The figure took shape of a man. A pirate. Gol D. Roger.
"What!? No way!" Luffy screamed at the sight of the Pirate King.
"I've been watching you for a while, but it seems the show's ended! Ha-haha! How would you like to try again?" Roger asked, sitting across from Luffy. "Take a seat, will ya?"
Luffy sat down in front of the man, ecstatic and suppressing his emotions.
"So, I'm dead, right?" He asked the Pirate King.
"Yep. You had quite the adventure there, little kiddo."
"Can I ask you a few questions then?"
Roger smiled and brought out a pouch from his hat.
"Sure! I'm all open for your questions!" Roger laughed before twisting the lid.
"What exactly is the One Piece?" Luffy asked in a serious tone. "Or is it something made up so people could go on adventures?"
"You want to know about my treasure? Or ya wanna try to find it?" Roger asked with a grin.
"Is it somewhere here? Do you have it?"
"No, no! But I'll tell you this, little one. My treasure isn't at Laughtale."
"Then where is it?"
"I don't know! I forgot!" Roger shouted.
"What!? You forgot!?"
"Nah, I'm just teasin'! It's somewhere in Laughtale, but there's no way to find that island."
Roger took out a paper and a pencil and set it in front of him.
"If you sign this paper, it will give you a second chance at life. You'll start over at age of seven, but you'll retain all former knowledge like Haki and names and faces... etcetera, etcetera, but they'll only come back as you go along."
"Wow! Really!? So I can go back and save Ace?" Luffy asked, feeling the need to take the offer.
"If you try hard enough!"
"Are there any catches to this?"
"Nope!"
Luffy took the paper and pen and signed his name at the bottom.
"How come you haven't done this?" Luffy asked as he set down the items.
"I lived a healthy life! I don't have any reasons to go back! Plus, I get to spend some long-needed Father-Son time with Ace."
"Ace is here?"
"He's probably fighting with Sabo right now. Anyway, off you go!"
"It was nice meeting you, Gol D. Roger!"
"We'll meet again! Take this for granted, kid, and make the best of it! Adventures as a pirate last forever!" Roger shouted as Luffy's body began to glow a golden shade.
"What's happening to me -"
*Poof!*
Luffy vanished with traces of gold dust.
Luffy has now been set on a brand new path of his choosing! The first thing he sees when he wakes up is a ship in the distance over the seas. A small girl just bigger than Luffy himself stared him down from the bow. She had red and white hair split down the middle, fixed into two braids that dropped to her waist, and another two set up like rabbit ears.
