Summary
"I see it, when I look at you," Bucky whispered as his hand slid up to your face, tilting your gaze to meet his own. A pained look spread across his face. Enough ghosts haunted that look to last a lifetime. The very ones that haunted the halls of your heart and hid in the shadows of your mind. Both of you had shared the darkness and maybe you both could find a light in each other. "We share it, that look, in your eyes."
What if HYDRA had created another experiment just like the Winter Soldier? And what if they were a woman instead?
After years of torment at the hands of HYDRA you find yourself pulled out of a base by a man named Bucky Barnes, who seems to share a similar past as your own. Soon, you begin to grow closer to the Avengers who have made you a home and closer to the only one who can understand your pain. As time passes, questions arise that only lead to more questions, and feelings grow complicated towards the one who carries the same blood on their hands as you. Not to mention nothing is working to stop the programming HYDRA gave you, and time is ticking. Will things work out before it all ends?

I'm on chapter 12. Safe to say, I am highly enjoying this! Very interesting and well-written. (Impressive as I usually avoid these things like the plague)
