Here lies a love too strong to be remembered, except by the very bones it etched itself into.A brief meander through the lives of Sam and Max's ancestors, Sameth and Maximus, exploring the struggles of taboo love in the late Victorian era. When I first played 302 I was like 'haha they're just reskinned sam and max they're probably still gay......oh my god they're still gay. in the homophobic year of our lord 1901'. And then I had to torment myself, obviously.
Canon compliant to 302 and full of spoilers for it, very thoroughly a tragedy. But even dying embers are pretty while they're burning out, right? -
