It was barely above a whisper, a simple sentence, likely not even intended for his ears, but the effect of those words was profound. Heat roared to life in the scholar’s chest and for a moment he thought he’d already reached climax, but the heat remained. It never boiled over into an onslaught of pleasure, instead it instilled a sense of comfort, warmth, and love.
Love. The thought came to Alhaitham as a realization and for the first time in his life, Alhaitham pitied the gods.aka. Kaveh has a huge crush on Alhaitham but thinks he's too inferior for him (along with other mental baggage that doesn't get covered but is mentioned lol) then Alhaitham finally stops thinking for a second and does what he should've done a loooooong time ago ;)
