Chapter Text
Harry wakes up after absolute chaos struck in the train. He fully regains energy and notices he's in a tight space.
Huh? Where am I? How did I- Harry thought before realizing.
"Is this a vent!?" Harry shut his mouth in fear someone will hear him.
Things were too dark to tell or make out anything. But considering how narrow it is, it only made sense for it to be a vent.
Harry uses touch as guide to get out. As he crawled around he starts seeing light from his right, which makes him internally cheer and go towards it.
Before breaking out immediately he makes sure no one is around to catch him in the act. He kicks the vent door and lands in a meeting room.
"Table?" Harry points out as it was the first thing he saw.
It was made more obvious that something wasn't right.
Yep, this is not the station or the train we were in. Probably some building. He thought before being caught off-guard by the sound of two doors opening, which makes him hide under the table.
"Did I see someone?" A man in agent gear questioned.
The man brushes it off as a hallucination from being tired and grabs a phone with a grey case.
"Can't believe I forgot my phone." The man leaves as Harry watches him do so.
"Oh yeah, there's people here."
Harry crawls out and stands up.
"I could walk out but I'd need and disguise... Oh shit I could of taken that guy out!" Exclaimed Harry, "Ah, dammit."
Harry slightly opens the left door and sees a janitorial closet. He makes out a plan:
I'll wait outside at corridor. When a dude comes near at the right time, I'll pull him in and knock him out! Then I'll strip off his and put them on, so I can get out in one piece.
He rolls with his plan. He runs as fast as he and gets inside the closet. Harry starts waiting.
No one yet.
Harry waits a few minutes more. His target eventually comes. He makes sure no one else is around to catch him in the act.
Sweet!
Harry latches the agent and drags him in.
"Huh!? Who are you??? How did you ge-" Harry knocks the agent before he can finish.
"You are gonna be so confused once you wake up."
He takes the man's clothes and puts them on. He takes his phone and looks at the time.
"12:50 pm." Stated Harry.
That's lunchtime. He then thinks to himself.
That means there is a place where everyone can eat. But if I just walked out all of the sudden... Harry stops and takes back his thoughts.
"No, It won't be that bad. Then again, I only know so much of my situation."
Harry exits the closet. His objective now is to leave. The speaker starts to sound.
"Lunch break is over. Return to what you were doing. Don't bring any food with."
Harry ignores the message assuming no one will bet an eye of what he was doing outside of Lunch. He starts to think to himself.
Wait... There's clearly a janitor here. How would he react if he saw some naked dude in the closet?
Two soldiers walking together unexpectedly run into him. They start to question his presence. Was he exploring? Or does he not like being around other people?
"Um, what were doing when everyone was eating?" Asked the man on the left.
"I wanted to eat by myself." Lied Harry.
The man on the left was totally confused when he said that.
"In a hallway...?"
"I just walked out not that long ago!"
The left guy stays silent for a little bit. But he accepts Harry's answer.
"Okay then."
Both soldiers start to leave.
Harry, feeling some relief, starts going the opposite direction they were.
Harry starts walking around find a way out. He tracks back to a window he passed by and looks through it. A projector is showing a map of the entire base. A red dot is pointing to the place the onlooker is currently at.
He enters the room and takes a picture of the projected map before exiting.
This'll be important.
With help of the picture he's taken Harry manages to find the exit and leaves in a heartbeat.
"YES!!!!! I'M FREE! FR-"
A cybernetic portal spontaneously spawns out of seemingly nowhere, which catches the attention of Harry.
He carefully walks to the portal, baffled at how this could've happened. He gets close enough and gets sucked in.
"Wa-WOAH--"
Harry teleports to a place that is unalike any other place he's seen and been to. It looks bright and cybernetic yet a tad bit dark. But stands next to him is a strange square-like tunnel.
"Is this gonna be like that one show where everyone travels in a tube?"
Harry, after assuming, walks towards the tunnel and leans into it getting sucked in. He panics for a bit until he saw through the tunnel.
Pathways that lead to floating structures that are also shaped like squares, flashy billboards that look like holograms, he was absolutely in awe. But it was cut short after he launch into someone.
"Woah..."
He happened to bump into a tall, purple alien woman in a long dress. She had light blue hair and scelera with white eyes, glowing fingertips, pink lipstick, and wavy hair.
"You're gorgeous..." Harry said bashfully.
"Oh you. I know I'm marvelous, but I'm taken." The alien noted.
A green, serpent-like creature slithers in to see what's going on. Harry is utterly baffled at what he's looking at.
"That'd be me!"
"That's your boyfriend?"
"Are you judging our relationship?" Gloria Huffed.
A blue humanoid with a round head and nerdy attire walks in as well.
"Um... What's going on?"
Harry gets flabbergasted at the size of his head once he saw him.
"Holy shit that head is HUGE." He pointed out.
"Yeah, I know" The humanoid said in reply.
Harry stands up and is free from any form of confusion. He starts to speak.
"What are your names?"
Everyone looks at Harry. The green creature clears his throat.
"Well, my name is Snek, my girlfriend's name is Gloria, and our unofficial leader's name is Bub. Welcome to Metalonia."
"Metalonia...?"
"Oh! Metalonia is a safe sanctuary for people lost in foreign worlds."
Harry starts to get interested. He doesn't know if they will let him leave, but ignores that thought.
"Can I explore?"
"Of course!" The Metalonia trio says in sync.
