Peacemaker was alone in the rainforest picking strawberries. when he saw Moonwatcher walking towards him.
“hellooo.” he called. “I’m making you a pieee!” he always wondered why she came so often. he knew she was a friend of mother’s but did she really need to come over to see him all the time. He continued picking the best berries off the bushes. until she came close enough for him to bury her claws in rainforest mud, a game she always played with him when she visited. “Mmm s-t-r-a-w-b-e-r-r-y-s!!” he sang happily. Moon laughed. “it’s spelled, s-t-r-a-w-b-e-r-r-i-e-s” she corrected him. “no, is not!” he cried indignantly. Moon made a face at him. He liked her especially when she brought him surprises.
“I brought someone.” She said gesturing to behind a tree, A sand wing stepped out. peacemaker shrieked with delight. “ooooo spiky tail sand dragon!!!” he said happy with Moon’s surprise. “hi I’m Qibli.” The dragon said.“Qibli, Qibli, Qibli. Pretty shiny sandy dragon!!” peacemaker sang. “big and sandy and….” He paused. “boooooooo!” “ack” Qibli said jokingly, peacemaker giggled at him. “I see a basket behind you.” Qibili remarked.
“yis strawberries” peacemaker said proudly. “wait did you come to steal my strawberries!” He said wrinkling his snout at him, “no.” qibili answered “tooooootaly not going to steal them….” The bushes rustled again. “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!” peacemaker screamed. “more dragons!?” he nearly collapsed with excitement at this development. “I didn’t bring more dragons.” Moon said in a whisper. They froze in a still silence that was unbearable for Pacemaker. “Peacemaker where are. you it’s time to come home.” To every one’s relief it was hope, his mother. “come on sweety let’s go.” She said. “ok mama. Bye Moon, bye Qiblilililili.”
