Summary
“I've made a mistake,” Paige said out loud. When she decided to go on a walk in the preserve it was partly cloudy, the forecast didn't show it was going to rain but as she got further and further away from her car the worse it looked outside. Paige tried looking at her phone but got no service. Clouds covered the sky and the wind blew harshly, if Paige breathed in hard enough she could smell the rain waiting to fall from the sky.
After about 30 minutes of wandering, rain starts pouring from the sky. She's soaked to the bone, freezing cold. By the grace of God, she stops in front of a mansion. ‘It's worth a shot. At least until the rain stops,’ she thinks to herself.
She runs up the steps and goes to knock on the door, it swings open. “Stiles? It's raining so hard. I told you to come back earlier,” said a tall, dark, and handsome man. Paige gasped at the sight, she felt like she knew this man but couldn't quite remember his name. The man looks down at her and frowns, “You're not Stiles.”
