Chapter Text
「 ✦ “ Life goes on ” ✦ 」
✦ ⌇ Y/N is sent to stay with her Aunt in Eltingville due to a horrible accident back home
Your head laid back against the car seat, your eyes slowly opened as your Aunt got out the car’s door. You took a moment to fully stabilize yourself before getting out the passengers seat, “Grab your luggage from the trunk and I’ll get the boxes” your Aunt said. You nodded and did as you were told, as you bring your heavy luggage into the home you take a moment to take in your new surroundings.
The sun was setting asleep and the air was crisp hitting your nose, you take it all in and head inside. The home was quiet and quite small, the lighting was warm as it illuminated around you. Your aunt comes in behind you holding the boxes, “Your room’s upstairs to the right.” She states. “Alright.” you reply as you began carrying everything up.
You place everything in your new room, it was a bit spacious. Could possibly fit a shelf and maybe a small vanity. “I hope you don’t mind the space y/n..” Your aunt says as she comes behind you holding a plate of beef and some garlic bread, “Oh yeah here’s some leftover from dinner” she says placing it on the table beside the bed. You spend the rest of the evening unpacking and cleaning the dust, once you finally finish you plop onto the bed and see your untouched food . “𝘊𝘳𝘢𝘱 𝘐 𝘵𝘰𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳 .”
Your feet navigate the floor slowly, it was at least 10 pm so you didn’t want to make any noise that would disturb your Aunt. Putting your food into the microwave making sure not to slam the door too hard, for a second you hear someone yelling. Pausing for a moment making sure it isn’t just a hallucination you hear more commotion. You peek slightly out the kitchen’s window and slide it open, and there it is.
The source of the noise was coming from the house right next to you, it sounded like more than just one person yelling. You close the window and go back to your room hoping it would just pass but it didn’t, you spent 30 minutes listening to the irritating sounds. Annoyance consumed you enough ; you grab your hoodie throwing it over your pajamas sneakily heading out the front door and leaving it unlocked so you could get back in.
You walk over to the sullen home carrying yourself with anger you stop at the door knocking and waiting for a couple of moments , the door swings open almost immediately . A greasy little boy stands in front of you, his hair looks disheveled and his glasses falling off the bridge of his nose. His face overrun with acne , behind him you can see three other boys sporting the same blemishes.
They seemed to not notice you at the door. He looks at you with an expression you can’t read, finally he speaks “…What do you want??..” . You open your mouth to say something back but it takes a minute for something to actually come up “I uhm, you were being quite loud and I actually came to see if you could maybe tone it down?” .
He just stares for a moment, “Yeah whatever.” he mumbles. “Bill hurry up!!” One of the boys call specifically the larger sized fellow. “I’ll be right there!” He scowls turning back towards them. 𝘉𝘪𝘭𝘭 turns back again toward you, “You can get off my porch now ” he says then slams the door on you. “What an absolute prick.” You mutter before kicking a rock off it and walking back to your home. Now sitting on your bed the only thing that played over in your mind was that interaction between you and that measly boy.
