On a crisp autumn afternoon, Lucille, bright eyed and bushy tailed, heads to a dim, rundown comic shop. Focused on a small task—buy a Batman issue #555 for her big brother. Lucille meets Pete, a perverted boy with a shocking amount of charm. Their brief encounter spirals from awkward flirting to uneasy chemistry, as he follows her to the local church. She was advised to keep her distance from him and his family, labeled as crude and sinful. That brief encounter led her to believe she could fix him, while he thought he could corrupt her.
