this weren’t meant to feel like heaven

Summary:

Cube had cut his hair, deciding that he couldn’t hold onto it. Not the memories that came with it either. Cube dyed his hair back to its natural color, just hoping he wouldn’t be attached to the memory anymore. Cube even got a new pair of glasses.

And Leo, well, he grew his hair out, dying his hair silver. And he’d let those roots grow out. He did.

Chapter Text

Cube had been up studying all night for his exams, though everyone else had been sure he’d studied enough already. Cube was a perfectionist, he had to have everything exactly perfect, and exactly his way. Cube took a sip of his lukewarm coffee, jotting down notes continuously. He pushed up his glasses, which were falling off. Cube had been so focused, he barely recognized the sound of his door opening. “Hey, Cube.” A voice echoed throughout the study hall. Cube sighed, looking up. It was Leo. “Hey, you’ve been studying for a while, you sure you…Don't wanna take a break or something?” Leo asked, raising an eyebrow. “No. No, I don’t need it.” Cube replied, looking back over to the numerous notebooks on the desk, making barely any room for the computer. “This whole week, you’re always in the study hall, sure you don’t wanna atleast get up and walk around? I barely even know you, but I know this can’t be good for you.” Leo said, walking over to where Cube was. “Look, the whole study hall is empty.” Leo added, looking over at the notebooks. Cube sighed, before gathering his stuff and putting it in his bag. “Sure.” Cube said, getting up. Leo smiled “Finally. Let’s walk around, yeah?” Leo said. Cube nodded.

After a few laps around the campus, Cube yawned. Leo looked over. “Cube, get some sleep.” Leo muttered. Cube nodded, then walked off waving goodbye. Leo shouted out “Hey! Whats your number? Before you leave!” Cube sighed, shouting his number to the man across him, before he continued walking.
