   Summary

   When the firefighters stumble upon him seconds later—clad in nothing but his underwear, contemplating the receding flames and the wily temptress—Taggie, her name was Taggie—who has just fled him—Rupert issues another world-weary sigh. The absurdity of the situation isn't lost on him. He stands nearly naked, newly slapped, watching professionals douse his fields, while the most intriguing woman he's met in years (perhaps ever) disappears into the woods. Not his finest hour, certainly, but somehow not his worst either.

   Or: Taggie runs into a burning field and Rupert gives chase.

   Cue: Miscommunications, Rupert being slapped (though to be fair, he does deserve it), and a couple of idiots who don’t wait eight episodes before doing something about their feelings.
