At peace on Pabu Island
“This is nice.”
“It really is. Very nice.”
“Just us. No meddling family, no missions, no hurry and certainly no worries! Nothing but sun, sand, sea and peace all around.”
“A mighty long list you got there, May! And what am I then? Chopped liver?”
Crosshair just had to, the sarcastic comments innate to him like breathing. As Mayday had not mention him on his list.
Mayday turned to Crosshair, his eyes fixed on the former Sniper. Mayday, having been on his back observing the blue skies so far, the two having been swimming just a tad earlier and now simply laying there on the blankets waiting for the sun to dry them off.
Mayday being all too familiar with Crosshair these days did not mind the comment though. His eyes on his partner never yielding. The love Mayday had for Crosshair shining through loud and clear.
“You’re not on the list.” Mayday decided to tease for a bit though.
“Not on the list???” Crosshair looked positively shocked.
“No love, you are not. There is no list you can be on as you my sweet and sour man will always be the top most on my mind without any need for lists.”
Mayday smiled softly. Not wanting to argue about anything on this fine day. Simply wanting to spend it with his love without hassle.
Crosshair melted. He always did. Mayday always finding the right words to say to him. And at this very moment, Crosshair could not help falling for Mayday all over again.
Reaching for Mayday’s face, his hand guiding the other man closer, their lips meeting for a tender kiss.
“And you my sweet Commander, will always have the top most spot in my chilly little heart.”
Mayday knew the comment was really precious coming from Crosshair. The man of few words he was. Mayday cherishing them like he always did Crosshair and their precious time together.
