*Truthless Recluse threw a beer bottle at shadow milk, that’s the 8th one today* go and get me another beer! *Truthless Recluse yelled as he threw another bottle at shadow milk and it shattered. Shadow milk was shaking bringing Truthless Recluse another beer, then went to the bathroom to take the broken glass out of his head while jam was pouring out. Truthless recluse couldn’t have cared less and continued to watch the tv and drink his beer while candy apple and black sapphire were asleep in the attic*
*Shadow Milk combed through Black Sapphire’s hair, tears welling up in his eyes as he tried to blink them back* Its okay… someday we’ll get out of this place… *he let out a heartbroken sob as he stared at the kids, so fragile and so helpless just like Shadow Milk was when Vampire cookie introduced Pure Vanilla to Cookie Kingdom’s best juice in the south. He sighed and weakly got up, slowly and quietly walking down the stairs and back into the hall.* “Shadow! Shadow! Where the dough is my beer, you son of a witch! *Truthless Recluse yelled, trying to get the very last drops of the beer out of his bottle* c-coming! *Shadow Milk panicked, scurrying to the kitchen and quickly looking through the pantries for another bottle* oh no.. no, no, no… *hoping that a beer bottle would appear right in front of him; there were no more beers, Truthless Recluse must have drunken them all.* Shadow Milk!!! *Shadow Milk continued to look for a few more seconds and faced defeat, sighing in fear, as he already knew the consequences.* I-Im here, Pure Vanilla.. *He said, fiddling with his sleeves* Where in the dough is my beer!? *Truthless Recluse yelled, throwing his empty beer bottle at Shadow Milk, the broken glass bouncing onto the floor and penetrating a few of the eyes in Shadow Milk’s hair, causing him immense pain* I’m sorry, I’m sorry! We ran out! There’s no more beer! *Truthless Recluse looked at Shadow Milk as if he stabbed him in the chest before transitioning to pure hate* WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERES NO MORE BEER!!? YOU COULDN’T HAVE STOCKED UP FOR THE WEEK!???THAT’S IT! YOU’RE SPENDING THE WEEK IN THE OVEN! IM SO TIRED OF YOU!! *Truthless Recluse shot up from his chair and chased Shadow Milk into the oven, locking him in the scorching heat and leaving him there to fend for himself* Pure Vanilla!! Im sorry! Please! Im sorry! I promise i’ll buy you more beer, just please let me out! *Truthless Recluse continued to walk away, opening the door and shutting it behind him*
*black sapphire was covering his ears to not hear the screams of his parents and candy apple was still asleep. Black sapphire could hear shadow milk screaming in pain of being in the oven while Truthless Recluse just watched. If only Pure Vanilla hadn’t been influenced they would still be a nice family. Black sapphire felt tears*
Flashback
*Pure Vanilla and the rest of the family were walking around the town square, looking at the beautiful fountain spraying waters and other cookies having fun.* Dad! Look! Look! *Candy Apple cried out, hopping up and down as a huge sign read “CAKE HOUNDS FOR SALE”* Awe, how cute! *Pure Vanilla smiled, walking towards the Choco Werehound Princess* Good evening, ma’am, my daughter seems to have an interest in buying one of these, how much? *Choco Werehound Princess looked down at the Cake Hounds before making up a price* You can have one for 500 gems. *Pure Vanilla looked in his pocket but only had 322 crystals. He was 178 crystals off. Before he could make a negotiation, Shadow Milk reached in his pocket and pulled out 500 crystals and handed them to Choco Werehound Princess. She counted them before unlocking the cage and taking out one of the Cake Hounds and putting it in Candy Apple’s arms. Candy Apple immediately started squealing and began to hug the Cake Hound tightly, allowing Black Sapphire to get a few pets in before shooing him off* Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! *she ran up to Shadow Milk and Pure Vanilla and hugged them both tightly. Shadow Milk smiled and ruffled her hair* No need to thank us, that Cake Hound was made for you. *they all let out a laugh before continuing to explore the town square until a familiar voice echoed through their ears.* Hey, my man! Long time no see! *Vampire cookie grinned, patting Pure Vanilla on the back. Shadow Milk immediately tensed and pulled Pure Vanilla to the side before he could reply to Vampire cookie* I thought i told you i dont want you to be in contact with him anymore? *Pure Vanilla sighed and rubbed his temples* I know, but he’s a childhood friend. I can’t say no to him.. *Pure Vanilla pointed at Vampire cookie who was currently talking to the kids and petting their newborn cake hound. Shadow Milk immediately ran towards them and slightly pulled Black Sapphire and Candy Apple away from him. Vampire cookie smiled* Still don’t like me, huh? *Pure Vanilla sighed before walking towards Vampire cookie* sorry, Shadow Milk’s still has some getting used to. *Vampire cookie smiled before putting his arm around Pure Vanilla and walking away with him* yeah! No problem! while we’re hanging out, there’s some new good stuff I wanna introduce to ya. *Shadow Milk sighed before walking the two kids to the fountain bench* Its okay, dad! *Candy Apple smiled, holding onto Shadow Milk hand tightly* yeah, i’m sure there’s nothing to worry about in the future. *Black Sapphire chimed in, holding onto his father’s other hand. Shadow Milk smiled and pulled them into a group hug, letting out a deep breath as he held onto them tightly* I don’t know what I’d do without you guys..
*black sapphire looked at one of the family photos they had in the attic and started to sob loudly and wished that they were still a happy family and that pure Vanilla hadn’t been influenced by that stupid vampire cookie. Black sapphire’s sobs were so loud they woke up candy apple and she was wondering what was going on and started yelling at black sapphire to shut up and too stop crying and that made him sob louder while arguing with her. His sobs were so loud that Truthless Recluse heard them and ran to the attic and black sapphire was trying to keep the door closed and was so so scared of Truthless Recluse right now he wished he would’ve just stayed quiet*
*Truthless Recluse started yelling at black sapphire for crying so loud and that it was giving him a headache and black sapphire tried screaming at Truthless Recluse ”SHUT UP YOURE ALWAYS YELLING TOO!!”pure vanilla slapped black sapphire across the face and yelled “DON’T TALK BACK BITCH” and dragged black sapphire in the coal bin to spend the night*
