Miles started moving his legs frenetically in the bedsheets. Phoenix who was already awake next to his husband tried to get close to him without scaring Miles. But Miles jumped awake exhaling a big amount of air. "God. P-Phoenix are you awake?" he said looking at Phoenix and tilting his head a bit. "Yes I'm awake. You didn't wake me, I was already awake before, so don't worry." Phoenix tried to get closer slowly. "Phoenix I- are we at your apartment?" he looked for Phoenix's hand and grabbed it tight before continuing to speak. "Sorry. I know where we are. It's just I- I had a nightmare." Phoenix held his hand back, squeezing a bit. "Miles dear do you feel like talking about it?" Miles took a deep breath and began to talk. "I was. God, sorry. I was having another stroke and I- didn't know if it was really happening or not. I am so sorry Phoenix-" Phoenix stopped him and hugged him tight. "Miles. Don't ever try to apologise again. What happened wasn't your fault and you know it. Do you need anything?" he hugged him tighter. "N-No I'm fine- Thank you." Miles wanted to keep talking. to tell his husband what was the weight in his heart. but god it was difficult to put into words. "I love you and I'm glad I didn't die. I get to be with you." was all he could say before he layed down in the bed again. Phoenix did too, hugging Miles anf putting his head on his chest, leg between his. "I love you too- I know i- I mean no. I don't know. But if you need anything I'm here. You're stuck with ne forever." Miles took all his willpower to use his plegic hand and give a gentle punch to Phoenix before saying goodnight and kissing him on the forehead
