It was one of those days again , a restless storm cast upon the usual blue sky , the sound of raindrops hitting the sphere’s roof were rather loud , it's terrifying.
A storm like this could strike this vehicle down , it could destroy Ensemble Square , this project is just a huge liability from Thunderbolt Entertainment , carried out with perhaps little to no consideration of consequences.
‘ Bright Me Up ‘ , allowing idols to transform , sounds like a joke.
Though Tsuzura couldn't really complain , he never dared to voice his concern regardless , he would just mess things up for everyone .. and this is his job now after all , as long as it pays .. he'd just need to nod and agree , only speaking when spoken too and make sure the Megasphere is maintained.
Perhaps being the assistant to Yoshihide is still too much to process even if it's been some time now. Tsuzura still questions what Yoshihide even saw in him when he had pulled him into this position.
Every time he asks , Yoshihide would often avoid a straightforward answer .. then treat him to something , either food or hanging out in general.
Tsuzura doesn't like that yet he couldn't tell Yoshihide directly , what if he gets fired ?
Now , the two of them were sitting in the lobby of the main building on the Megasphere. The rain seems to be much quieter under shelter , Tsuzura would prefer it if it's still loud.
“ Lost in thought again , Tsuzura ? “
Yoshihide asks , leaning a little too close towards Tsuzura .. it almost feels like he has something to discuss , it makes the latter anxious.
“ Nice , I'm worried about this project’s success .. “
Tsuzura mumbles , glancing down to the floor as he lowers his head , making himself smaller to the other as if he wasn't shorter already.
Yoshihide blinks before laughing softly.
“ Haven't I told you , the success of this project will be my concern .. you're simply handling the Megasphere, isn't that nice ~ ? “
Tsuzura sighs , shaking his head.
“ Not really .. it's rather anxious , one mistake and I could risk getting myself fired .. or ruin the whole Ensemble Square .. “
Yoshihide chuckles , abruptly placing a hand on Tsuzura's shoulder causing him to flinch slightly , the latter stares at the former.
Yoshihide was grotesquely optimistic though Tsuzura thinks it balances out his pessimistic nature , that's why it's .. nice to depend on him.
How ironic.
“ You see , if you think that way for too long .. it might actually happen ~ So , be nicer to yourself ! “
With a wink at the word nicer .. it's stupid yet Tsuzura can't help but smile at Yoshihide’s sentence , he wasn't wrong but the former has never done things like that.
Tsuzura is always the unfortunate one , he's even depending on his own boss , he's truly pathetic.
Despite that , Yoshihide never treats him differently and perhaps obliviously makes Tsuzura himself much happier about life , even if nothing would really change.
Having a companion can help him through.
Instead of continuing the deprecating conversation , Tsuzura changed the topic to the idols that Yoshihide had scouted , it was much more pleasant to talk about after all.
Soon enough , the clouds parted as rain stopped , a sight that was accompanied by the ray of sunlight and a dimly present rainbow.
Even so , they were still talking .. Tsuzura had realized how beautiful the scenery was though he found himself focusing on Yoshihide instead.
For once Tsuzura has a wish and he wants to stay as Yoshihide's assistant , he wants this companionship to be forever .. even if the project he carries out are rather bizarre and unusual.
