   Summary

   All of the kills Hans makes, hare or hound or man, are clean. Pulling the arrow out had been the horror. It had been unnatural, and Hans had been a thief, to steal such a good death away. The Hound had made a sound like a stuck pig when Hans had pulled the arrow loose, but it had been nothing to how Hans had felt doing it.
