They're on set for a promotional shoot. It’s a long day of green screen, costume tweaks, and repeated lines. In between takes, Cynthia notices how Ariana melts into quiet submission when being directed—but also how she takes control in the booth.
Later that evening, alone in a hotel room rehearsing lines, Ariana jokes: “You should direct me more often.” Cynthia doesn’t take it as a joke. She leans in, slowly, deliberately.
