“'They can be a bit of a handful,' the beta says apologetically. 'But I’m glad to see you seem to be getting along. And it’s good for you to get used to them from now itself, I suppose. I can tell you from experience that living with them can occasionally be something of a headache.'
'Because...they’re close with Jaemin?' Jeno asks, slightly confused by the beta’s assertion that he’ll be living with the twins. 'Are they his handmaids?'
The beta looks mystified. 'Handmaids? Whose handmaids?'
Jeno feels like he’s missing something big. 'Jaemin’s?' he asks slowly. 'Your prince?'
The beta’s eyebrows shoot even higher up his forehead. 'I think there’s been a misunderstanding,' he says, his expression suddenly a bit strained. 'There is no one named Jaemin in our pack. We have two omega princes: Jaem and Min.'”
Pack alpha Jeno is set to marry an omega from the Na pack for to merge and strengthen their packs. He goes in expecting to marry the Na pack alpha’s son, Jaemin – except Jaemin doesn’t exist, and Jeno is really marrying two omegas, not one.
