Helaena: I am so happy you two are friends again, dear brother!

Aemond: Um, thank you. What do you mean "again"?

Aegon: Even the conquerer never had TWO dragons, how is it is fair that you get to claim a new one?!

Random Green: Prince Lucerys has gone missing?! Princess Rhaenyra must be horrified!

Random Green: His dragon is still alive in Dragonstone, yet he is nowhere to be found.

Random Green: Courtiers are saying he has been kidnapped.

Aemond: … I’ll just have a quick look around the Crownlands. Vhagar can fly further, we might find a sign of Lucerys.

Aemond: It’s amazing. After you arrived my anger towards him just evaporated. I feel at peace now.

Aemond: Thank you, my dear dragon. *smooch*

Lucerys: Qybor, I…

Lucerys: Please don’t be angry. I swear on my life I was not pranking you.

Aemond: ……

Lucerys: Qybor?

Aemond: Get in the back seat.

Lucerys: I found the potion in the hidden chambers. I accidentally dropped it and next thing I know I was a dragon and you found me.

Lucerys: I couldn’t speak! I didn’t know how to tell you!

Lucerys: I thought maybe the potion will wear off and I can tell you the truth face to face.

Lucerys: I liked playing with you and your siblings. I didn’t want it to end.

Lucerys: I swear, I was going to find a way to tell you the truth eventually.

Lucerys: Please Qybor, don’t—

Lucerys: Qybor?

Jace: Lucerys where were you?! You are safe! Why did Aemond send you back?!

Rhaenyra: sweeting? Are you okay?

Aegon: You’re not fine. You destroyed your room. You train like the knights are your mortal enemies. You are even surlier than usual… not to mention… Where is that beastly dragon of yours?

 

Aemond: …….

 

Helaena: Brother, has Lucerys gone home?

Aegon: Wait, what.

Pause as Aemond tells them what he knows.
Long explanation later

Aegon: Oh seven hells.

Aemond: It was just another cruel prank from those bastards.

Aegon: … Hey NO WONDER he could read High Valryian! That doesn’t count. Sunfyre is still the smartest dragon!

Aemond: Is that all that matters to you?!

 

Helaena: Brother, I don’t think Lucerys meant any malice. He turned into a dragon entirely through a jest by the Gods.

Helaena: he was freed with true love’s kiss. Your kiss! That surely means something?

Aemond: It means nothing. Lucerys is home. He is no longer skulking in the keep learning our secrets. That is all that matters.

… is it though?

You are lying to yourself. You aren’t angry because of this prank.

You are angry because the cruel boy once again claimed your heart.

Helaena: Don’t worry. Your dragon shall return to you.

Aemond touched face.

 

Helaena: He shall return with your child

Aegon: YOU FUCKED DRAGON LUCERYS?!

Aemond: I DID NO SUCH THING.

Aegon: THEN WHY DID HELAENA—

AEMOND: I need to stop feeling sorry for myself. If I let the bastard cloud my mind with his cruel jests, Rhaenyra will claim the throne. Our family well be cruelty slain. Harden your heart and mind once again. Do your duty. But….

AEMOND:What did Helaena mean by “Lucerys and My Child”? She speaks in riddles, but her pronouncements often come true.

AEMOND: How could Lucerys possible give me a child?

AEMOND:Is he going to drink a potion to transform into a Lady?

AEMOND:Or are those Valryian romance novels of alphas and omegas actually not a myth?

AEMOND: Or am I going to be the one to bear a child—

Knock knock.

AEMOND:What happened to you?!

LUCERYS: Qybor I found a dragon egg for you!

AEMOND:You are bleeding all over the Keep, you fool. You are going to get me into trouble with the King!

LUCERYS: I found a dragon egg in the caves. It’s still warm.

LUCERYS: It is no replacement for a young dragon, but the egg will hatch one day!

AEMOND: Wait. Lucerys is holding a Dragon Egg.

HELAENA: Lucerys shall return with your child

AEMOND: *visibly disappointed* … She was referring to the dragon egg. Luke won’t actually have my child. … Sigh.

LUCERYS: Qybor? Why are you so disappointed?

LUCERYS: I enjoyed our time together Qybor. I admit that I hid the truth because I wanted the friendship with you more than anything in my life.

AEMOND: … I could never name the little dragon. Something told me that our bond wasn’t the same as that of Vhagar’s.

AEMOND: Everything on him reminded me of you. At one point I even pondered about naming him after you.

AEMOND: … you are right, the egg is no replacement.

AEMOND: I claimed YOU too, my little dragon.

Helaena: Oh that is silly. A dragon egg is not a child. But it’s nice that your son has a dragon so soon.

Aemond: What.

Aemond: Sister. Please, what do you mean?!

Helaena: Hmm

Aegon: Just admit you fucked dragoncerys, you pervert.

Lucerys: Maybe I can find a nice Valyria patterned cushion for Aemond’s dragon egg in this chest here.
