Luke frowned. “Seriously?”
“I’ll not be caught unaware.”
Luke rolled his eyes at him, yet gave Aemond the delight of watching him part his lips to the goblet. He did not look away from Aemond as he swallowed, the sound audible in the otherwise silent room. When he pulled away a string of saliva held on to the glass and fell away gently enough that Aemond couldn’t tell if it fell toward Luke or the glass.
When Luke offered him a section of the glass that was free of him, Aemond strained to reach the spot where his lips had touched, feeling and thriving in the small speck of Luke that he could consume.
