Chapter Text
"Not this one." A hanger is placed back on a clothes rack.
"Not quite.." A soft voice proclaims, feeling uncertian about the about the clothes displayed in front of them.
"Not feeling it." They skimmed past another article, stopping upon the next hanger.
"Oh! Here we are!" They exasperate, only to cover their mouth in embarresment in case someone heard.
Looking into a backstage mirror, their eyes glistened to the outfit held in their hands. The reflection of Eito Aotsuki refracted in the frame. You could say it was a guilty pleasure of his to go backstage of the drama classroom to indulge in utter fantasy. As if there was only him and the outfit he wished to doll up in. It was an innocent little quip.
A harmless secret only he knew. Such things might not be normal social norms, though hopping into a frilly dress and adding hair extentions/a wig has been a fun pastime at this academy. He never got to explore such things back when he was confined to the white prison called a hospital. Here he is free to explore his inner desires. He never knew how freeing a skirt could be.
Or how the way feminine clothing kissed his pale skin with delicacy. It was a new feeling, though welcome to say the least. Slipping into a frilly maid dress, he stared proud in front of a mirror.
Paired with some grey hair extentions and matching accessories, he imagined if he were some servent to a young master in the fantasy novels he read.
"Young master, it's time to wake up."
Eito gently grazed his fingers across the nearest clothes rack like a madman. Even if it was just pretend, he still believed there was someone replying to him.
"Did you have a good rest?"
"..."
From the corner of the standing mirror was the slightest glint of crimson.
"Who are you talking to?"
A voice called out amidst the delusion, catching the silver haired boy off gaurd. He stopped dead in his tracks, shifting his gaze to the other person in the room. It was Takumi, his trusted battle partner.
Eito quivered thinking Takumi could'nt have possibly of known it was him behind the lace.
Like a cliche moment in a shoujo manga, he tripped on one of his grey socks on the floor sending him timbering down.
"Ah!" He yelped as Takumi caught him with his fast reflexes.
"Eito kun?" The red haired boy said looking at the person he caught in his arms.
His back arched delicately underneath his partner's firm yet gentle grip.
His breathing hitched as he tried to muster up the courage to speak. Not a word ushered out. He was frozen.
"What's all this?"
The deep blue made his response nodding to quite the display in front of him.
"..."
"It's just a hobby." The moon pleaded for forgiveness, gazing at the boy as if he were a deer starstruck by the sight of headlights.
"Oh, i see.."
His brighter than coral colored hair contrasted heavily to the monochromatic outfit his partner wore.
"You umm, look really nice."
("OH MY GOD WHY DID I SAY THAT?!")
Seasalt hormones began raging.
"Really?"
"I.."
They lose balence colliding both of them to the floor. Takumi gazes up, realizing Eito is now on top of him. His heartbeat ramped up it's pace, wondering if his partner felt the same way. No, he shouldn't be so into it as he was. They barely knew eachother yet.
But alas his heart couldn't contain itself. Eito reminded him too much of Karua, especially dolled up in this manner.
"I'm sorry."
The words spilled out of his partner without warning. When his vision adjusted he looked up to an Eito that had completely lost it.
"I messed up.."
"What? No you didn't!"
"Do whatever you want Takumi kun."
"Relive your greatest fantasy."
He is pulled under a trance upon thinking of Karua.
"..."
Mind turning into a sea sponge, he remininced on the past.
"I-I want Karua back.."
"He took me away from her.."
His gaze glazed over glassily with tears brimming the lids of his cornea. Vision akin to a kaleidoscope.
The moon focused his glistening iris's to the ever changing tides; brushing a strand of hair behind their ear and sighed.
"A needy boy aren't we Master."
"P-Please.." the boy with an empty heart sank deeper into turmoil.
"Your heart is like the gravitational force of nature."
"The closer i get, the faster it beats."
"Isn't that right?"
Even his laugh was like Karua's. He checked his pulse and smirked.
"Our hearts are a vessel for love and life."
"What keeps us alive." Eito's voice drifts off.
"A heart is a fickle thing."
"My heart."
"Mmm?"
"It's shattered."
The boy subconciously gripped his sweater longingly, his oak fading into the distance.
"You've been my light through the birdcage that is my life."
"And i want nothing more than your happiness."
"So please, share your oak with me."
"I..."
The moon leans down cupping his partner's cheek. The smooth skin rippled like waves against his touch. Like a gravitational pole, Takumi was drawn to Eito yet couldn't fathom why. Part of him wondered if the maid outfit had something to do with his racing mind. He wasn't gay, or at least he never thought about it until now.
But, the moment their lips locked together all he could think about was Karua. He felt pathetic, letting a guy kiss him like this whilst thinking of someone else. Though he couldn't protest. It did feel good. Tears flowed down his cheeks like a low tide as he deepened the gesture on his own accord.
Their lips were a silken treasure. Its bond as strong as titanium prattling around the waxing gibbous that is their mouths. It was as if time had stopped indefinietly to the beat of their hearts. Were they truly friends? Or could they vow for something more?

A curious wing fluttered into the drama classroom perched at a flying hault. Curiousity pecked at her inner psyche preening the desire to venture further. The moment she heard the stippling of salivary sensations it was far too late to turn back. For the sight had nipped the hormal receptors in her brain. It was a chance-medley of chagrined emotions bursting with the flavour of amylase.
She watched as the rich brininess of the deep blue had a salty residue as it settled. Moonlit lips parted with bated breath leaving a trail of it's lunar regolith behind. Wiping its intoxicating film off the rim, a tinge of red grazed his buccal nerve.
Keyword Aquired: Oak.
Mouth agape in awe, it was a rather sensual sight to behold for the mechanic's eye. Her vocal chords spat out a chirped burble alerting the ocean's calling. He cocked his head to the left with an abrupt stop. Gingerly, the dried saltwater on his nape resembled that of fresh seafoam. His voice gargled trying to muster up the courage to speak only for the moon to come to his aid.
"I-It's not what it looks like!"
The boy frantically stuttered, skittering his way off Takumi.
"I'm so sorry! *inhales* I didn't see anything!" Tsubasa was that of a harpsichord plucked by the quill of embarressment. She scurried off with a weaving run, almost as if she were trying to take off into the air.
"I apologize for putting you in this mess.."
Eito bent over to pick up his spewn around clothes trying to initiate small talk.
"I just.."
"No, it's fine."
"It's your hobby right?"
"Yeah."
Undoing his hair and clipped off the extentions, clearing his throat.
Takumi straightened out the crinkles in his sweater, uncertian on his feelings towards his partner.
One thing was for sure, he could almost see under his partner's skirt and Eito knew he could.
The moon looked back with a sly smirk.
"Naughty Takumi kun. You're thinking dirty things aren't you."
"W-What?"
"Were both men, you can look if you want."
"I'm not stopping you."
"Eh?!"
"Eito kun that wouldn't be decent at all!"
"I can't just look up there."
"It's not?"
"Not in the slightest!"
"Okay! I'll remember that then."
He swore he could see Eito pouting.
Takumi's mind turns to mush reflecting over what happened in the last 20 minutes.
It was only a single kiss. A mere taste, no more than just a tease. Part of him felt like he could've sent him out of orbit, given how he viewed him as someone else their entire encounter.
