"Seonghwa located his phone and picked it up, quickly finding his target contact and tapping the call button.
“Hey, baby,” the voice on the other end answered quickly.
“Hi,” Seonghwa responded softly. “I miss you.”
“I miss you, too,” Hongjoong replied.
“Are you going to be home soon?”
There was a brief silence on the other end before Hongjoong replied. “I don’t think I will be home tonight.”
Seonghwa’s heart sank. “But you promised,” he pleaded.
“I know. I’m sorry, babe. I promise I’ll come home tomorrow night.”
“That’s what you said last night,” Seonghwa pointed out, his voice raw from trying to hold back tears."
It's no secret that Hongjoong is a workaholic. When he doesn't come home when he said he would, Seonghwa gets upset, makes a comment he later regrets, and hangs up on him. The comment is cutting, but it gets Hongjoong's attention. Will he be able to earn Seonghwa's forgiveness?
