    Levi looked around at the strange, white sand, stretching in all directions. He had no idea what he was looking at. He'd been unconscious when Eren had first spoken into everyone's minds when the Rumbling started. Levi turned slowly, taking in his surroundings, and they shifted into something else, somewhere else.

     

    Eren sat on the stairs in Shiganshina, kicking loose pebbles down the shallow steps. Levi turned to see him there, confusion on his face.

     

    "This is a weird ass dream," Levi said, mildly.

     

    Eren looked up, his eyes blank for a moment, as if he was seeing something else entirely. He blinked and looked normal again, or at least as normal as Eren ever looked these days.

     

    "Is it a bad dream, Captain?" Eren asked, sitting up a little straighter on the stairs.

     

    Levi came to the bottom of the staircase and looked up at him, eyebrows knitted together.

     

    "Dunno yet," Levi answered. "What happens next?"
