    Summary

It was supposed to be an easy end to the semester.
Julie Molina was mentally halfway to Christmas break already, counting the days until she could fly home and not think about chord progressions or counterpoint structures. Sure, she was beyond grateful to be studying Music Theory and Performing Arts at Julliard was a dream come true– she was among the finest musicians and biggest nepo-babies in the country, but that didn’t mean the girl couldn’t complain about her classes. Music Theory I had been hell– partly because of the unbelievable amount of coursework and competition, and partly because of her idiot of a classmate who sat diagonally behind her and always showed up five minutes late with a stupid smirk and a guitar case slung over his shoulder like he was God’s gift to music.
    “Morning, Julie Jules.”
    Luke Patterson.
Even his name made her want to roll her eyes
