    Summary

    Dipper was never supposed to be in the Hunger Games. He was supposed to live a quiet life in District 1 with his sister and great-grandmother, where the only Tributes were volunteers.

    But that didn't happen. On his first year his name was drawn and no one volunteered to replace him.

    Why did this happen? Why did no one in a Career district volunteer? And how is he going to survive the Games when the odds have never been more against him.
