    “Okay, okay.” Buck raises his hands in defeat, “Just– here, just let me pose you.”

    Eddie’s lungs stutter, eyes widening as Buck grabs his ankles and yanks. He only slides down the bed a few inches, but his heart is racing as if he just rode one of those busted-up pendulum rides at the county fair.

    This is way, way worse than he thought it was going to be.
