   Summary

   Gotham City is a dark and dangerous place. Ruled by rival Mob families, both Falcone and Maroni want to rule the city from the shadows. But the shadows of Gotham are not theirs to hide in. Rumors abound, from monsters in the sewers to violent vampires flying through the night.

   Police captain Jim Gordon will find out the hard way that there's more truth to some rumors than he'd like, as he tries to prevent a gang war from erupting on the streets of Gotham just as Bruce Wayne returns to the city after being away for 11 years.

   Bruce has returned an entirely new man after leaving as a young teen, and now only has one goal. To make the city a safer place by punishing any who would do it, and its inhabitants, harm.
