Floryn’s eyes sparkle, watching Chou’s reaction to each sauce that she created with blood, sweat, and tears. “So, which one do you like?”
But Chou has something else on his mind. Each sip had brought him closer to the memory of her scent, the one that had made his head spin when he first saw her.
“Actually,” he says, politely putting the vials back to their original places. “Could I have a taste of the nectar you’re wearing?”
