Golf Ball wasn’t planning to do much today.Maybe grab some coffee, maybe just hang around with Tennis Ball and TV, as per usual, maybe work on some more projects.
But as soon as she laid eyes upon Coiny and Pin, who were comfortably huddled up beneath a tree, she knew that this was her chance.
She could finally get payback for when coiny had teased her and TB about their relationship, all those years ago.She still remembered each and every word, and his sing-song tone, clearly in her mind.
“See, I KNEW TB and GB had a crush on each other!~”
“TB, GB, sitting in a tree!K-I-S-S-I-N-G!”
Her smile widened cockily, as she decided exactly what she was going to say to him.
She spun on her heel and head towards the iconic duo.
“GET A ROOM!”she excitedly boomed in their faces.
“W-What the heck, GB?!We’re just friends!”Coiny crossed his arms angrily.
“Yeah!”Pin added frustratedly, with her hands on her hips.
Much to their chagrin, Golf Ball’s sly expression only grew when she noticed the heat emanating from their faces, a deep red dusted on their cheeks.
She cackled manically.”Yeah, right!I can see the blush on your faces, you dummies!JUST KISS ALREADY!”
“GOLF BALL!”Coiny and Pin both shouted at the same time, their faces practically burning up.
“HAHAHAH!”her laughter echoed through the sky.
“PIN AND COINY, SITTING IN A TREE!”
“K-I-S-S-I-N-G!”
The amount of catharsis Golf Ball felt from her outburst was indescribable.
He’d finally felt her wrath.Finally understood how she felt.How romantic teasing felt.
And the best part?That she knew it was all true, too.
She was incredibly good at noticing signs, and during TPOT, she could tell that they both had feelings for each other right away, with how touchy they were.
And now they had finally been confronted directly about their feelings towards each other.
The relief almost brought a tear to her eye.Almost.
“J-JUST GET OUT OF HERE, GB!”Pin choked out, and put her face in her palms, clearly embarrassed.
She gladly abided, and ran off joyfully, letting out one last chuckle.
She took one last look behind her as she made her escape.
Coiny and Pin both looked away from each other, embarrassed, both of their faces covered in blush.They both looked like they were about to combust.
They did seem to be smiling, though, just a little.Like they’d been caught.And like they’d realised just how deep their relationship was.
Golf Ball’s smug expression softened.Just a little.Enough to visibly see it on her face.
What a bunch of dorks, she thought to herself with a small grin.
And with that, she was off.
