Coiny was beaming with delight.
Today was his birthday.And it had been full of cake, presents and joy.
Though Loser himself hadn’t been able to attend the celebration, due to being involved in an un-skippable tour, the rest of the Losers had made sure to make it a celebration he wouldn’t forget, even inviting the rest of the cast along.
Everyone had poured their heart out into making this a special day, and he couldn’t be happier!
…Or could he?
Because little did he know, this party was about to become a whole lot more special.
The room was filled with laughter, everyone huddling up in their own little groups.
Everything was relatively normal, and relaxed.
That is, until Pin stepped up, in front of the Losers.
“…Wait.” Pin suddenly stated, causing the Losers and a few other attendees to go quiet, looking at her expectantly.Though many eyes were still turned away, focused on their own conversations, it was still clear to her that there was no turning back.
“I have…one more present.”
Cake and Clock started to whisper to each other.
“This wasn't in the plan!What is she doing?”Cake glanced at Pin confusedly.
“I don’t know, but I’d say we should trust her.She is Coiny’s best friend, after all.”Clock answered, his eyes looking towards her keenly.
“…Alright then.But if anything goes wrong, I’m blaming it on you.”They both retracted from the conversation to focus entirely on… well, whatever Pin was doing.
“Yeah, Pinster?”Coiny’s gaze momentarily wandered to the Losers before setting back on Pin.It was clear to him that this was not part of what they’d planned, judging by their shocked and confused expressions.
He stared at her nervously.
Her expression grew sly, and she removed the red laced top hat from her head, slowly stepping towards him.
She rotated the hat sideways, to shield both of their faces, and she leaned forwards.
And closed the gap between them.
Coiny flinched in shock, but slowly melted into the kiss.It was better than he’d ever imagined.Pin wrapped her free arm around his waist and pulled him in further.
Clock gasped at the sight.Needle smugly elbowed Eggy.Firey blushed in embarrassment and shielded his eyes.Cake clapped in excitement, his eyes glimmering like stars.
“Oh my!”Ruby giggled, noticing the commotion, and forcefully turned Flower’s head towards it.She squealed in joy when she realised what was happening.
Though they couldn’t see behind the hat, it really didn’t take a genius to know that she had just kissed him.
After a few seconds, she pulled back, with both of their faces looking dazed, staring at him dreamily.
It was as though they were the only two in the room.She couldn’t focus on anything else but his flushed face, and loving gaze.
“Happy birthday, Coiny.”was all she could mutter.
