Chapter Text
The eliminated contestants all took their places in the room, with varying levels of excitement.
Fries and Eggy looked like they were about to pass out from boredom (Fries momentarily did, but Puffball nudged him awake) while, on the contrary, Cake and Foldy both looked as though they were about to implode from excitement.
It had been a while since they all sat down to watch a few episodes together.
And today, they were going to watch BFB 6.
“Wait.Coiny, Pin, mind if you fetch us some snacks? It’ll be a long trip (the hotel is stupidly large), but you should be back in time for the end of the first episode we’re watching.”Eggy bluntly, yet somewhat politely asked.
They both looked at each other nervously.
This was going to be their first watch party together, did they really wanna go on a wild goose chase for snacks and miss out on an episode?
…Then again, they were warranted some time alone together after being separated for so long.Plus, it would make the rest of the contestants happy…
They both silently (telepathically) communicated with each other.
‘…Should we…?’
‘Uh…Yeah.It’ll help the others.’
They both subtly nodded at each other.
“Yeah, sure.”they both answered at the and time.
“Okay, thanks.”
They both slipped out of the room.

[Time skip to beginning of the Coiny and Pin talk in BFB 6]
A new scene begun on the screen.Cake leaned further out of his seat.
The camera panned to Pin.She seemed…upset?Distracted? She nervously turned away from the rest of their team, who continued to shower Loser in praise.
However, Coiny, unlike the rest of the Losers, seemed to take notice of her sorrow. He kneeled down to her level.
“What’s the matter?”
The contestants stared at the screen in awe, awaiting her response.
She turned to him with a forced smile, and clasped her hands together, as though nothing was wrong.
“Not much of a poker face, buddy.C’mon, tell me what’s up.”
His voice was unusually soft.More genuine than usual.
She sighed, her fake smile falling apart in the process.
“It’s just…”
“Our team is so Loser-centric, right?…”her voice trembled.
“Everyone likes him.We rely on him for advice and success…and…I’m just afraid that…that…”
“Yeah?…”
“What if he was gone?We depend on him so much!We hardly know how to do things on our own!”
She subconsciously grabbed his hand.
“What if we’ve forgotten who we are without him?!What if we can never function again?!What if we-what if…”
Coiny let out a soft chuckle at her words.Pin glanced at him confusedly.
“Huh?”
“Gosh, have you forgotten which you’re talking to?”
“This is your partner in crime!Your right hand man!Your Woah Bunch co-captain, one year strong!”
“And just look at yourself!A heroic leader. The brains behind so many ingenious challenge strategies!”
His eyes lit up.
“You compute, we big execute!Agh, it’s fantastic!”
“So, you’re saying?”
“Look, yeah, Loser’s a great guy, a fantastic guy, a perfect guy, even! But…just look at you and me.”
He wrapped his arm around her waist.
“We’ve got a whole BFDIA’s worth of experience under out collective belt. And…even when it comes time, we won’t hesitate to let it show.”
The scene unfolding in front of the contestants was certainly a shock, to say the least.
Foldy and Cake both stared at the two on the screen, eyes glimmering and unblinking.Clock placed his prosthetic hand (gifted by Four and X) over his clock hands to prevent them from ticking and disturbing the scene.Fries rolled his eyes, and Eggy had an unreadable expression form on her face.Perhaps a little surprised.
…
“There’s nothing to be afraid of, Pin.”
“I promise.”
She leaned into his side, with a joyous smile, and a subtle blush on her face.
“That…really means a lot…”
He, too, seemed to have be a little flushed, his cheeks dusted in red.
“Awh, it’s nothing! Now, wanna gush about our favourite cube with the rest of us Losers?”
“You bet!”she stood up confidently, as though she’d never been upset in the first place.
The scene transitioned to Donut’s clock, which only had five minutes left.
—————
It was safe to say that the contestants were no longer focused on the new scene.Hell, they weren’t even focused after the end of the episode.
Small whispers and murmurs filled the room.
“Were they always that close?”Eggy muttered under her breath. She was stuck in shock.
“Aww, that was SO romantic!”
“I know, right?!”
Foldy and Cake gushed with each other.
“Woah! Those two are WAY closer than I thought!”Puffball blurted out.
Fries mimicked the sound of throwing up, and shuddered.
“Eugh, I couldn’t care less about those two and their romancing!”
“Oh, shut up, Fries.”the whole room dismissed him at the same time.
“Well, I wish those two the best.”Click simply stated, before removing his prosthetic hand from his face.
Eggy, after having been snapped out of her shocked trance, suddenly had a realisation, and started looking around the room.
“…speaking of Coiny and Pin, where are they?”
As if on cue, they both burst through the door, panting desperately.
“W…we…we got what you wanted…”Coiny choked out.
“Y…you didn’t tell us just how…far away the kitchen was!”Pin murmured with a hint of anger in her voice, though it was mellowed out by her tiredness. They both dropped everything they’d carried in their arms and plopped down on the sofa in despair.
The whole room turned to them, with varying expressions on their faces, most of which being smug.
Cake’s sly grin travelled so high up his face, it may as well have touched the ceiling.
Meanwhile, Fries glanced at them in disgust, having hated seeing their lovey-dicey nature on the big screen.
Eggy, who concealed her subtly smug smile, broke the silence.
“You’re back!You did miss the episode, unfortunately…”
Coiny and Pin both looked at each other disappointedly, and then back at Eggy.
“B-but…I think this next episode is gonna be one of the best, so don’t worry! The last one was kinda boring, anyway.”
They both sighed,”Okay…”, and Clock prepared to put the next episode on.
Everything seemingly returned to normal, as everybody was making small talk, as usual, but said small talk sounded a little…off, to Pin.
Everyone seemed to be talking about something, or someone, in particular. But she couldn’t completely make out what they were saying. What were they talking about?
Pin’s question was then answered when she felt a nudge from Cake, who was sitting to her left.
“He’s a keeper.~”he whispered to her, just loud enough so that she would hear, but not loud enough for Coiny, who was sitting on her right, to hear.
“W-what?”she whispered back, confused.
“We watched BFB 6 while you where out, Pin.We know what’s going on between you two.”he eyed Coiny keenly.
Pin froze. She could barely even process what he’d just said to her.She couldn’t even muster up a response.
They’d watched…BFB 6, that’s what he said, right?
The episode where-she’d…she’d…
THE EPISODE WHERE SHE’D HAD THAT TALK WITH COINY.
OH NO.
The delayed realisation hit her harder than a truck. She thought she was going to physically fall apart into pieces.
Th-they’d seen her-seen her all flattered and vulnerable, staring into the eyes of her best friend, hand in hand, leaned against him.
“…Something wrong?”
Her eyes darted to Coiny, who’d noticed her zone out.
“N-NO.”she quickly blurted out, before immediately switching her gaze to the TV, embarrassedly.
She faintly heard Cake chuckle at the sight. She felt like she was going to vomit.
‘Oh my god.I’m never, EVER gonna hear the end of it.’
She turned almost neon red from embarrassment.
