With Sevastopol behind them, Jim had thought the worst was behind them as well. But no. Apparently his choices are jail, jail for his crew, jail for his ship, or join the Federation on a delightful pleasure cruise to Acheron. Jim's survived the impossible before, more than once, in fact, but how long can one man's luck hold out? And then, of course, there's Spock. Spock that Jim yearns for. Spock that Jim longs for. Spock that Jim will absolutely get a grip about. Yes. He will. The Mission will go fine, he will get over Spock, and he and his crew will go on their merry way.
This time for sure.

Fab crossover - Spirk and Alien. Lots of facehugger nastiness and sexual tension in this really well written mini -novel. Set with the Enterprise as a towing vessel - but with the cleverest-sharpest crew with all the main characters superbly written. Lots of detail about how the ship is actually run and surviving through treacherous environments - inspired by the Alien game. Read it slowly, if you enjoy Alien and ST it will pull you in. A complete original take on Kirk/Spock. From me a full five stars.
