Changbin and Seungmin are on the run after Hyunjin gave himself up to Jeongin to keep them safe. They make it to the police station, where they hope to stay for the night, to at least make it to the morning, where they have a better chance.
But, of course, they get tracked down and found.
Jeongin didn't keep his promise.
Seungmin is terrified for his life, bruised, injured, and bleeding. Changbin is his last lifeline, keeping him sane. But Changbin thinks there's a chance they could get to safety.
A quarantine zone in Busan, where a cure may be, could be their only reprieve. It could also keep them safe from their infected friends, but they have to get there.
If Changbin has to stay behind to ensure Seungmin's safety, he's willing to do it.
He'd keep Seungmin safe.
