Moving Mountains

Summary:

This is a song about what’s currently happening in my life, and though I don’t have the music for it, you can still read the lyrics!

My newest installment of Christian Songs! I’m giving control to God. After all, God’s plans are perfect. Mine aren’t. I better step back.

Notes:

Hey!! Alright, so, here’s a little context for what you are about to read. For those who don’t know my story (which is most people in the world) I feel like a bit of an explanation might be beneficial.

I’ve been a Christian most of my life, ever since I was three years old I reckon, but that doesn’t mean that my life has been without bumps and potholes, and that certainly doesn’t mean that I’m perfect. All it means is I’m forgiven.

Recently, God used my life to preach His message, and, hardly even realizing what happened, Jesus brought my best friend to Him not long ago, and that so far, has been one of the biggest miracles in my life. He answered my prayer to be His light.

Also, God has led me to the love of my life (at least what I believe to be), and even though I am forced to love them in the dark, I still praise Jesus for everything He has given me and all the answered prayers.

Not too long ago, I was begging Jesus for a friend, just one friend, who I could really connect with and who knew Him and understood His love as well. That prayer was answered within a year. Later, I was praying every night to find someone I could love. That prayer was answered in four months. Even though we haven’t met yet (officially), I still remember how quick that prayer was answered, and my love for them, and for Jesus, has never been this strong.

And that’s why God is moving mountains.
