Summary
The Yoisaki princess just turned 20, turning this age means for a member of the royal family that they must prove they're worthy of their royal blood and accomplish their first feat of arms in order to become a legitimate member of the royalty in the kingdom.
Her father is protective and worried as usual, but this initiatory tradition has been established to make all future monarchs of the kingdom revered heroes even before taking power, and the king knows his daughter cannot escape her fate despite her poor health.
Vampires are seen as extremely dangerous foes, and slaying one immediately makes you an honoured knight and fighter. For his daughter to accomplish her task with as little danger as possible, the Yoisaki monarch sends his daughter, the princess Yoisaki Kanade, to the mansion of a vampire only him knows to be weakened and a tired shut-in beast. Despite being physically weak, this certain vampire is used to charm and manipulation, but this white-haired princess may hit her weak spot.
