“I mean, he was a great kisser, but then my—“ Kaoru cut himself off as he turned, eyes trained to Kojiro’s neck, to the bruise below his jaw. “You… didn’t have… that yesterday, did you?”
“No.” Kojiro replied carefully, watching Kaoru very closely, watching his eyes fill with unadulterated fear and dread. “No, um—“
“Why didn’t you wake me up?” Kaoru almost squawked, standing and making his way over, pressing a light touch to his neck and causing Kojiro to flush bright red, the boy wincing as he drew his hand back.
“I thought you were awake.”
“Kojiro!”
