Maleah and Loki were in the backseat of the car while Tony and Pepper were in the front seat.
She held her hand out and offered some gummy bears, to which he complied and took one, popping it in his mouth.
"Eat that gummy bear if you're in love with me."
Loki rolled down the window and spit it out.
She stared at him in shock and he shook his head. "Sorry, that one was a bad flavor. Ask me again." He took another one from her hand.
"Eat the gummy bear if you're in love with me."
He purposefully spit it out again and looked back at her with a smirk.
"Hey! Stop it!" Tony scolded them. "You either eat them, or don't. Stop spitting them out!"
Five minutes later, Loki spread his legs a bit wider since the back seat was so crammed.
"Dude, can you move over?"
"No, you move over."
Maleah rolled her eyes and lightly shoved his knee with hers, going back to watch the city scenery as they went to the store.
He then shoved her knee a little harder. She slowly turned her head to face him and playfully hit his arm. He hit her back.
She huffed and they continued to go back and forth, hitting each other until Tony interrupted them again.
"Will you two quit it?! I will turn this car back around!" They stopped hitting each other and scooted over until there was a few inches of space between them. "You guys are children," he mumbled and pulled into a large parking lot.
"We have to go pick something up, you two stay here," Pepper told them and got out of the car, but Tony stayed in for a second longer.
"No funny business in the back of my car," Tony glared at them and he just shrugged.
They left and Maleah got out her phone and unbuckled her seatbelt.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm bored," she sighed out, turning around in her spot so her legs leaned back against the seat and she wrapped her calves around the head rest. "This is surprisingly comfortable," she said as if she almost didn't hit him in the face accidentally when maneuvering.
"Hmm," Loki hummed, looking at her legs then down at her face.
She caught his look and chuckled. "You wish that was you, huh?"
"A bit," he admitted. "But it's not like I haven't seen you in that position before," he smirked, leaning over to be able to see her eyes better.
She held her head up using her core strength. "You try it."
"I don't think I would fit. This car is average in size."
"Come on, you can totally fit!" Maleah caught herself. "First of all, that's what she said," she cackled and leaned her head back, but felt the rushing of blood so she lifted her head again. "Second, just try it. It's fun."
Loki sighed and unbuckled, trying his best to turn around in his seat and be in the same position. "You make it look easy," he muttered and struggled a bit. "It helps that you're flexible. I am not."
"I don't know, you seem quite nimble to me."
Eventually he managed to kick his legs up and lay upside down. "I look and feel ridiculous."
"But do you regret that you did it?"
"Kind of."
"Hey, you spit out a gummy bear which means you didn't love me, and so the least you can do is say you're having fun." Before he could say anything, she added something. "And give me your credit card."
"Fine," he let his head drop and he stared at the underside of the driver's seat. "This is the most fun I've had in my entire life," he said emotionlessly.
"I knew you'd like it!"
They waited for a few moments before he decided he couldn't take anymore and sat up, removing his legs from around the head rest and instead sat crisscrossed with his back against the driver's seat.
"Ya know, we could try the thing Peter does with MJ."
"I don't want to learn about science with you," he grumbled and looked at his phone, but he only stared at the lock screen of the two of them being all cute and smiling at each other, which brought a small smile of his own to his face.
"No, not that. It's the thing they do when they kiss."
"Please, spare me. I do not want to hear about your best friend's love life," he rolled his eyes and Maleah punched his leg.
"Stop interrupting! Anyways, I call it the 'spider-man kiss' because I once caught them while Peter was in his suit. She kissed him while he was hanging upside down by his webs."
"So you want me to kiss you while you're upside down?"
"Yeah! And look," she gestured to herself. "I'm upside down, you're right side up, it's perfect."
"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you wanted to kiss me." Loki grinned down at her and moved so his face was in her view.
"I do," she smiled and he kissed her lightly.
"Like that?"
"Hm, they make it look better."
"Well, we are in the back of a car."
"You're right, we'll have to try again later."
The door opened and they looked up to see Tony's questioning face. "Honey, what are you doing?"
"I was bored and my husband told me he didn't love me."
"Is this about the gummy bear?" Loki took another one into his mouth and chewed and swallowed. "I love you. There, happy?"
"Yup," Maleah grinned and sat upright, buckling in as Tony and Pepper got in the front.
They removed the space between them and sat close, with him wrapping his arm around her and placing a soft kiss on her head.
